Close to a laundry, groceries, a delicious pub, bus lines to city center. Very clean and quiet with a delicious breakfast.
Location, Cleanliness, helpful, friendly staff. We were eating at the Sticky Walnut & it was literally around the corner.
Breakfast was very good
We were unable to lock bedroom door from inside therefore I was aware of all night and could not sleep. Toilet seat had a lot of splinter son the underside this could not be overlooked by a cleaner as it was obvious and its was also an old fault that can be repaired for just a few £'s
location staff breakfast
needs updating bathroom
Comfy bed Clean Warm
Cold breakfast Attic Room Old fashioned
Shower too small chased the water around!!!
Our room was nice, we slept well, breakfast was good, staff were very nice and helpful. It was within easy walking distance of the city centre, so we didn't have to fight for parking.
Our experience was positive.
Close parking friendly relaxed atmosphere. Good breakfast.
The room was cold and the hot tap water failed to appear.
Travelled with friends to compete in marathon, management put on early breakfast for us and also let us come back and shower after the run at no extra cost, management We're very polite and helpful. Will stay again if in Chester.
Location,comfortable room, good breakfast,friendly staff
No response to my telephone calls or my email prior to my visit
The relaxed informal atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely, with a choice of cereals, fruit and of course a yummy full English breakfast.
The only downside is that all rooms have a shower. I have mobility problems and would have preferred a bath to have relaxed in. Other than that there wasn't anything I didn't like.
The people over there were very nice, their breakfast was very good, and the manager was extremely helpful in getting me, an international student, acquainted with the city, this place helped provid the comfort I needed to adapt to the city as quickly as possible and I'd gladly stay there again.
Easy to find with easy access to town
owner was very friendly and attentive
Parking Breakfast Very friendly
Small bed and bathroom
This B&B can beat be described as shabby with redecorating, updating and fixing of various items needed . Probably could be seen as a health and safety issue. So no, wouldn't recommend and found it way too pricey for what it had to offer. Breakfast was good though .
Honesty bar Good home cooked breakfast Quiet location
great location for chester city centre lasheem ( I apologise if I have not spelled your name correctly ) was excellent in his service, very pleasant to his clients and made us feel very welcome very comfortable beds room was ideal for myself and my friend and great breakfast would definitely visit this guest house again thank you for making our stay a very pleasant one Maryanne and dot
A bit old fashioned
Not a bad b&b! All is what you usually expect from normal b&b!
Bathroom is a bit dark, and shower is a bit too small!
Nice guest house, clean, friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Breakfast a little slow. Chester is not the city I remember, it has changed for the worst.
Frendly Welcoming, spotless clean warm cosy, happy staff could not fault anything about the hotel
Relative proximity to City Centre.
The dirt on the slide of the shower door. The lack of hot water in the basin when we arrived. The slatted bedside tables where things fell through. The universal TV remote that lacked most functions. The absence of warmth and cheer among the staff. Jeans-clad member of staff walking casually through breakfast room to have a smoke.
Good breakfast, clean rooms big enough for purpose. Friendly but unobtrusive staff.
Poor shower - impossible to get temperature right, low pressure. Our room was above the dining room from where the noise of the left-on radio kept us awake for long periods (didn't realise where it was coming from or we would have switched it off)
