Location to chester city and train service, staff where excellent the bedroom size was very good. The bed was very uncomfortable I never had one good nights sleep tossed and turned, bed creaked and groaned, mattress sitting on a box frame, could do with a better quality mattress, maybe that would help, also as a senior the top floor is to many stairs and turns to carry 2 cases up 31 stairs without assistance.

The lady who served breakfast was lovely very helpful When we arrived we werent shown our room. The member of staff told us not to drink in the b+b as was very exspensive and that she couldnt care less as the business wasn't hers!. The room was fairly clean but was absoultley freezing my friends and I sat in our coats ! It is about a 25 min walk from town and each taxi driver charged us differnt amounts even though we used the same company. We did enjoy going out in chester though but would defo stay closer to town next time. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to young parties on a night out.

Breakfast choice was brilliant. Was given three rooms for me and my friends for the same price as two. Very friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. came down for breakfast, only three of the six of us wanted a cooked breakfast, two a full enlish and one scrambled egg on toast. Lady said she will do another couples breakfast first as its quicker and do ours after. Once she got round to us we only had the tow full english breakfasts and no scrambled egg. Toast came out quite a bit before breakfast so went cold. Heating in one bedroom went off during the night and didnt come back on so were that cold it was hard to sleep.

Location was fantastic. It was only about 10 minutes walk to the shops, which meant we didn't have to use the car. It was clean with very friendly staff. We loved it! T.V in the room could have been larger. Also ther could have been a wider choice of beverages at the bar. Perhaps a T.v or music in the dinning/living room area.

Guest house has a relaxed friendly atmosphere, very helpful staff gave us a warm welcome. Rooms were very clean - if a little dated - and bathroom facilites were clean and relatively new with toiletries provided. Breakfast was lovely and we didn't feel at all rushed - again the staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely one to visit again!! Just a bit far from the town centre - couldn't get a taxi late in the evening so the walk took about 15 minutes, but the positives outweighed this fact.

We lived in chester for many years, we have two small dogs-so hamilton court ticked a number of boxes for us. We walked into the main shopping area & we also visited the north wales coast. Food was great. The staff helpful & friendly.

Warm welcome, good breakfasts, comfortable room, helpful staff, convenient location (we arrived by train and used bus/taxi). Situated in a quiet, leafy street just off main bus route. Very easy to get in and out of Chester, a lovely city..

The staff and the owners are amazing.i loved the hotel it was lovely and homely. The little local shopping street had great food. I really loved this hotel and will stay here if I go to chester again My bed was rubbish, every time I moved I was woken by the noise it was making. Mum's bed did not do this. My pillows were too hard and flat. One front door key meant having to be let in when mum went to the room and I was still out.

Hotel very nice but hRd to find, room quite small though for what I could see was a type of family room. But the staff/owners were really nice and friendly. I would stay there again and recommend the hotel to other people for a short stay.
