They welcomed my two large dogs without question... They stayed in our room and this made the trip hassle free. Easy to park outside the hotel.

Good clean honest old style B&B very well located in a nice mainly residential area with walking access to pubs and resurants.

Very welcoming staff, we were made to feel at home straight away. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful dining room.

Shower ran hot and cold. The double bed had a rather lumpy mattress with very little spring in it. I thought from the details it was very near the town centre but it was a 15 minute walk away.

The bathroom sink was tiny & to wash your face you kept head butting the shelf above.

The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent. the hotel was good overall.

The hotel was great value for money! The room was a decent size, clean and just what we needed. The breakfast was excellent served by a lovely hospitable woman...fresh fruit laid out and a freshly cooked full English! I would recommend this hotel and stay there again myself!

Only downside...very minimal but we had a 3 person room but it was only equipped for 2 really...2 cups...2 towels

Dining room was very nice. Pleasant staff. Extra milk provided on request.

Shower was very weak, head rails on bed were not good. Shower soap dish and toilet roll holder both fell off the wall. Breakfast was a bit disorganised.

The breakfast lady was absoloutly rude to one couple in our party She admitted she had been drinking for the day before and could not wait to to to bed She harranged a couple for coming to breakfast at 9.15am Breakfast finishes at 9.30 She was so rude i would never recomend this hotel again

Convenient for railway station. Short bus ride into city centre. Friendly welcome and info given on facilities and meal (breakfast only) time. Self service bar (leave a note of what you have taken and pay later). Not having to come back from trips out for a specific time, they give you keys for front door. Breakfast excellent options and served with a smile. Excellent.

Flora spread for breakfast toast, no butter . (probably could have asked for it but am trying to lose weight.)

Choice of cereals, fruit and/or home cooked breakfast each morning. Alex is a great character and really made the stay. The bed in our room was very comfortable.

The rooms are dated and there isn't much pressure in the shower.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff who seemed to take a genuine interest in their guests. Quiet location, yet close enough to Chester centre. Off road parking available. Excellent breakfast, very clean and tidy room. Will definitely stay here again.

Nothing. But be aware that some rooms are on the second floor, which could be a bit of a climb for some. (It wasn't a problem for us.)

The staff were excellent ,happy to help, breakfast was very good,the location was good not in the centre of town but within walking distance to all local amenities

Top floor room 4 scweeky floor boards, hot tap you had to hold either wise it would spin around and around, toilet wouldn't,t flush properly and there was quite a bit of dust around (and cobwebs) and shower was deadly

There were a few hicups when i got there but these were very quickley delt with . the owner and staff went out of there way to help Breakfast was fantastic !!!!!

It does not say in there readout that the reasurant is not open for evening meals and also that the parking is first come first served outside the hotel in the street
