Clean & efficient. We had a cheap package and got a room in the basement, which was surprisingly good for a room in the basement but still a room in the basement (without window or natural light). The door did not keep noise on the corridor out well enougn, but otherwise basements are wonderfully quiet. |

The room was outrageously small for a business traveller. The room was in a basement and felt verty claustrophobic. The hotel is split across multiple buildings, at least 3. |

Original room had an unpleasant smell. The room I was moved to was noisy. Meal in reataurant was poor. |

Location was excellent being a 2 min walk from Earl's Court tube station, price was fair compared to theres in the area. Staff need to smile more, food was rubbish and room was tiny with no view. |

Location was great, we got upgraded to a Club Room which was very nice. Staff friendly and great cheap deal. Didn't bother with breakfast, chose cheaper option of eating out instead. |

Clean, comfortable and convenient for Earls Court underground. The room was 'over-furnished' and over-crowded; there was no double-glazing resulting in draughts, especially in the bathroom. The reception staff were rather surly and I was given the wrong bill on checking-out. |

The location to the tube It took 2 phone calls to reception and 30min wait for towels and no one seemed too worried when I reported a rat running around the corridors. Also the layout of the basement and ground floor rooms are confusing, easy to get a little lost. |

Convenience - a number of great restaurants, take aways and supermarkets. Also the tube was very close by - a nice, quiet location. The room itself was quite small, like everything was cramped in and not enought space to move around, I left the hotel with 4 bruises on my legs from walking into the bed and cupboards!! |

Booked deluxe double. Extremely comfortable and very close to Earls Court underground. Spotlessly clean and reception staff very pleasant and efficient. We paid £75 for our one night stay and was more than pleased. |

It was a bad experience - on arrival we were told maintenance problems meant no room was available but we would be transfered by taxi to another hotel where a room had been booked. But second hotel denied any booking had been made so checked with a third hotel - again no luck! Having wasted 2 hours returned to the Shaftesbury where no proper explanation was available but surprise surprise a room had been found. Hotel tried to redeem situation by an room upgrade , 30% refund and free breakfast but will not return. |

After refusing a room in the cellar without a window I was given a lovely large, clean room. A very comfortable stay. |

I found the hotel very convenient for my business meetings and was very impressed by the standard of the room although the air conditioning was not effective enough as I had it at the lowest setting and the room was still too hot but overall a very good stay As above air conditioning not effective enough |

The location is excellent, and staff very friendly. We stay before and had room 305 which i requsted again as was a special occasion for me and my girlfriend,we got room 105 which was very nice but too small, struggle for two people to move around it,got annoying in the end.shame. |

Free Internet connection (but no Wi-Fi), tea-making facilities, as well as tea and biscuits. My "deluxe room" was in the basement---quite cold, especially in the bathroom---impossible to stand on the floor without slippers (had to buy ones). |

The place is near to Earl's court underground station.tha staff are knid and cooperative.. The room is clean and good cleaning service. The design of the stairs ,you need to walk down stairs in a narrow steps.... |

It was close to where I was working the following day The bed was the narrowest single bed I have every seen and needed to be to get in the small room! Also in the middle of the night I went to the bathroom, as I turned the light on to find a cockroach running across the floor!!!!! |
