“The service was excellent. Very helpful staff. The location was very close to Earl's Court tube station which has elevators. This was especially important when arriving from Heathrow with luggage. It was an easy walk to the hotel.”

The road leading to the hotel is directly opposite Earls Court station, and only a 3 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is close to restaurants and bars, as well as fast food joints and a supermarket The hotel has an annexe down the road that it (tries to) puts you in, I paid for a luxury single room and they put me in a basement room with a tiny window that the size of it my pc screen is bigger!! I guess it was to hide the awful street and basement view!! Plus I am sure I could hear the rumble of trains in that room (from earls court station) which is very near. I complained and demanded I be located in the main hotel, but was fed some bull that the hotel was full owing to repairs to 3 floors of the hotel (as if!!-wouldn't make any commercial sense to close 3 floors!). The receptionist then said I could cancel my reservation and he would give me my money back. Which no sane person would as going to another hotel you would have to pay the extortionate rack rate. So I demanded to see the manager, who came took one glance at me, knew that I meant business. Didn't even bother to come over to me or say anything, and merely instructed his pleb of a receptionist to 'upgrade' me, and lo and behold a room was available. Its strange that the room I was then put in was a normal single room, I certainly didn't feel upgraded, there were club rooms on my floor but my room wasn't one of them! The contempt which the hotel has for its guests is incredible, I don't mind pay nor staying in an annexe if this was made clear at the time of booking, but you cannot advertise a luxury single room in a four star hotel, then put guests up in alternative accommodation down the road in 2-3 star level accomodation with absolutely no facilities!! With no offer of an apology nor a discount. Its appalling practice.

The main building is fine, comfortable and clean. The secondary building is terrible and this is where they placed me on my first night. The train, which was just ouside my window, woke me up @ 6:00 am (I checked in at 2:00 am so this was most unpleasent). The amenities, etc do not come close to those in the main building. I complained the following morning and was moved to the main building. I will never stay here again as it appears this is their customary practice and if you do not complain, they will keep you in the seconday building.

Great stay. I was on business and needed a safe and comfortable base. This is a great location and a quality. clean and reasonable value for money hotel I was a bit uneasy about being in a separate building, but got used to it quite quickly. I would have liked a more "homely" feel around the public areas - there was not really a "Lounge" of any sort and reception could have been the reception of a corporate company.

It was a wonderful location being so close to the Underground. The staff was excellent in helping us to find our way around London using the public transportation. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and lots of places for personal items. I would recommend the hotel and use it again if I came to London. The room was small and not a lot of room for luggage. However, we were able to manage with no problems.

The location is perfect (also see comments below). The room was not that big, but looked perfect and properly cleaned. The fact that I had to remove a small screw to open up the window, and the window screen was worn-out did not bother me that much. I expected to stay in the main building of the hotel, but instead we were brought to another location just around the corner of Hogarth street. So we never know whether the rooms in de original hotel were better/same/worse than the the one we had. The hotel is too expensive at normal rates, but if you are able to book during a 'deal of the day' (like us) you pay half price (pay in advance, and no refunds though)

Stayed here for 3nights as my husband was running the marathon Was a nice hotel, polite staff, nice rooms and had a bath which not many hotels have I found there wasn't much on the menu and it was rather expensive, my fridge didn't work (didn't bother me though as I didn't need it) not all the tv channels worked, and I wasn't to impressed when one of the staff just let themselves into our rooms when we were in there.

Allthe staff that we came in contact with were very helpful, room was clean & bathwoom was excellant We had been upgraded to club room but that was below ground level & my partner prefers the highest floor available so we were then given a room on 4th floor, but it had so much furniture in you couldn't move it was ridiculous. Just as well it was only for one night

Out of two rooms - our room was fine. Modern, comfortable and nicely decorated Although our room was O.k, my father-in-law was not happy with his room. It immediately smelt of smoke when he walked in. He phoned reception and someone was quick to come, apologise and change his room which was good. However the room he then had was quite a bit smaller and it didn't have a bath (like the other one) and he likes taking baths. He is not one to make a fuss but he asked the receptionist (face-to-face) if the room would be the same rate as smaller, not bath etc and they didnt really seem bothered and said it was the same price. They didn't apologise or offer any discount etc

The hotel was in an excellent location for visiting the attractions London has to offer. The room although not large was well appointed.Tea and coffee, water, fruit, bathrobes, slippers were included in the price . a microwave and fridge were provided. The bed itself was comfortable and the bathroom excellent with loads of extras The staff were brilliant especially Das. Made our stay much more pleasant. The only thing that might be needed is either another lift or a larger existing one . The only lift in the very busy hotel can only take up to five people at a time.

Positive surprised by location. Stayed at room 417. Room a bit smaller but for a single person enough. Very good equiped (iron, iron board, shaving kit, microvawe, watercooker,...). This is not usual for hotels and in many cases for those must be asked at reception. Room quiet considering the location that its only 2 minutes to the tube station. Nice cafes and shops arround. Service people very friendly!
