The Shaftesbury Kensington

Mukava ja toimiva kahden hengen huone. Aamun lehti ovella oli kenties jo vähän liiloiteltua. Laukkusäilytyksen heppu oli asiallisen palveluhenkinen.

Saapi olla tarkkana kun maksaa luottokortilla, laittavat mielellään summan euroiksi ja selvästi päivän hintaa huonommalla vaihtokurssilla.

Hotellilla oli hyvä sijainti, Siistillä turvallisella alueella.

varaus oli kahden hengen huone ja toivomus erillisillä vuoteilla, Vastaanotto ilmoitti että erilliset vuoteet maksavat lisähintaa, Vuode oli liian kapea ja aivan liian lyhyt parivuode kahdelle miehelle( isä ja aik. poika) Pituus 174 ja 180. Aaamiainen aika pelkistetty. Negatiivistä oli joustamattomuus

Tilava huone ja mukava kylpyhuone. Sijainti mainio, hyvät yhteydet niin metrolla kuin bussillakin.

Huoneessa ei ollut ikkunaa ja se oli epäkäytännöllisesti kalustettu, vaikkakin kalusteet sinänsä olivat hyviä. Huoneessa oli lisäksi aivan riittämätön valaistus.

Location was great, we got upgraded to a Club Room which was very nice. Staff friendly and great cheap deal.

Didn't bother with breakfast, chose cheaper option of eating out instead.

Convenience - a number of great restaurants, take aways and supermarkets. Also the tube was very close by - a nice, quiet location.

The room itself was quite small, like everything was cramped in and not enought space to move around, I left the hotel with 4 bruises on my legs from walking into the bed and cupboards!!

Good decor and comfortable quiet room.

Room too small and dark. Corridors hot and oppressive, no pool or hot tub.

Room was nicely furnished and bigger than previous stays. Staff very helpful and great location.

The bed was the narrowest single bed I have every seen and needed to be to get in the small room! Also in the middle of the night I went to the bathroom, as I turned the light on to find a cockroach running across the floor!!!!!

Good location very close to Earl Court station which is easy to get from most underground lines, lovely looking hotel inside and out, bar/restuarant looked nice but we didn't use it. Staff friendly, good rates, very clean.

Room had damage to the wall and a sensor by the air con ,stuck to the ceiling with silver gaffer tape, looked unproffesional, the tv was faulty as the picture continually went from light to dark and room was like a sauna with air con going no lower than 18 degrees and no window as put in a basement room, but it was cheap

Staff were helpful , room wonderfully clean and quiet. Breakfast fare was well cooked, with lots of choice.

Each time I have stayed here, the breakfast table always had something missing, like a spoon, a cup and saucer, etc I had to ask for replenishment, or steal from another table. This lack has been consistent over four visits. It is the only drawback.
