Between booking online and leaving the hotel I was expected to submit my debit card a total of 3 times. This is far too many times for security comfort.

The hotel was situated close to our friends house where we were attending a 60th Birthday bbq. Geberal muckyness. Old damp towels left in our wardrobe. Sticky tables in the bar. We were not advise that you didn't provide lunch or dinner at weekends.

The staff were very helpful & the breakfast was great People coming & going all hours of the night. We only got a couple of hours sleep due to the noise. The drinks vending machine was out of order. The shower had a mind of it's own & the ac stopped working during the night. Most hotels now have free WiFi but the hotel wanted £9 per day for the use of theirs!

It was near to our family. It was reasonably priced. The bar area doubled as the restaurant and was pricey. We thought the breakfast prices were very expensive.

Two of the female staff were very good, the receptionist upon arrival, and they lady that came on at 6 in the evening and was on duty all night. The room was clean and large. The plumbing in the hotel is extremly bad, the shower, the flush on the tiolet is all very bad. The bar food menu was very poor, and also having no staff for a drink in the afternoon, the receptionist was running from the front of the hotel, to the bar, to serve.

We were able to have a sandwich made on arrival. It was warm - definitely needed after attending an outdoor party in the coldest August for 18 years! The room price was a reduced rate which made it acceptable. There was nothing in the mini bar apart from 2 bottles of water - no soft drinks or snacks. The price of breakfast was way too expensive so we ate the same breakfast out in Aylesbury town centre for less than half the price.

Very large room. The window opened. Internet access. Tea and coffee facilities. Comfortable bed. Fridge didn't work throughout. I asked reception if there was ice as the fridge wasn't working, and there was, but nobody came to check the fridge. On the second morning the shower was icy cold despite running it and the bath connection for 5 minutes - very wasteful of water. Had to shower using the ice bucket and hot water from the sink.
