We stayed At Holbrook house from 5th of may to the 7th on a bank holiday weekend Holbrook was charming and quite beautiful we stayed in kingsbury which has a great view of the back garden. The decor was a little tired in the bedroom but the bathroom was brand new and the bed was really comfortable! we really enjoyed our stay at Holbrook House and would definitely stay there again.

Stylish without pretensions. Loved the grand piano. Breakfast delicious. Staff very pleasant. Relaxed atmosphere.

Rooms were spaceous and all the facilitys you would want/need. Everything was very avaliable and not too crowded. Fantastic reception area.

As nice as everything was, all very "used" did not detract from stay. Pricing of spa treatments Selection of food wasn't to my gf's taste.

1.The peace and quiet. 2. Unobtrusive, but friendly staff. 3. No young families with children. 4. Swimming pool and steam room. 5. Lots of space to wander around the grounds and escape.

1. No Wi-Fi coverage in the suite. However, as we stayed only one night, it wasn't the end of the world.

Accommodation in annex looked tired

Great facilites - gym, swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts etc. Excellent service from very friendly staff Amazing food, both evening meal & breakfast Lovely building & grounds

General decour could do with updating

Small, friendly, well appointed hotel with a "traditional" decor (lots of original old furniture matching the building style). Terrific breakfast.

The confusion at 8pm wheter we could eat in the spa area as we didnt want to eat in the hotel rest... The closed at 8.45pm. The food arrived at 8.30pm and was fine but the impression given was uncomfortable.

Everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. room was excellent, v. quiet - couldnt hear other guests, bed extra comfy, warm and cosy. guest facilities were wonderful, lovely lounges with log fires. surroundings are beautiful. Food is exceptional. good spa facilities

Staff were very freindly. The facilities were great, although we weren't able to take advantage of all of them. Plenty of parking. Hotel was off road and quite secluded. Wonderful lounges with working log fires which were lighted every day we were there.

Although the food was very good, the menu was rather limited. There were only 4 choices of each starter, main and dessert. My wife is alergic to fish, and as the starter included two fish dishes, one vegetarian and one meat, she was limited to what she could order, Although the room was very clean warm and comfortable, the bed was rather small. It may have been a double, but I, at least, struggled to fit comfortably, with my feet forced against the foot board.

Lovely setting, beautiful building which thankfully has been furnished in the fashion that the manor was originally intended. Beautiful period features. Very large bedroom/suite with spacious en-suite and seating area. Lovely view from room. Staff are so wonderfully friendly and helpful, very welcoming. Only had breakfast meals, but excellent selection and beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent value as we stayed on a special offer price. We will definitely be returning. The location was perfect for us as we were attending a weekend antiques fair at Royal Bath & West Showground.

There isn't anything to dislike about Holbrook Country House Hotel.

The staff were excellent - Becky on Reception couldn't have been more friendlier and was willing to go the extra mile.

The room was cold, though a portable heater was supplied.

Everything! We had a lovely weekend. Staff constantly checking we were happy with everything. Lovely rooms (old style and cosy). Very very good food and service. Spa facilities excellent. OPen fires a real treat. We were a group of friends doing some voluntary work without our family. All of us agreed we would return for another weekend with family.

nice grounds, character and good size rooms.

bare, stripped, floor boards in bathroom and rather dreary old fashiond decor in the rooms - needed a little bit of updating.

The TV did not wokr properly and there was insufficient trea and coffee in the room.

Friendly, real fires, excellent food, quiet, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast very expensive at £15.50 per person, no option of a lighter choice at a lower price.

Grand surroundings and quiet location.

King sized bed was 2 singles pushed together so rather firm down centre line. Bathroom very spacious but plumbibg rather quaint.

Having experienced a slight problem when we arrived, we were extremely pleased at the way this was handled. Our stay was relaxing, our dinner excellent and to have our breakfast cooked freshly for us each morning was a special treat, and quite rare nowadays.
