Bed mattress was a bit dated . Every time u turned the bed made noises. Shower very small .
The cleanliness. The extremely pleasant and helpful staff, and in a very quite location
Was a great stay nothing to complain about.
everything about the place
Easy parking, clean, friendly
Friendly girl from leeds talked about football on my way to the charity shield
Comfort (good nights sleep). Excellent breakfasts. Staff, nothing too much trouble, superb hosts. Faultless.
Noisy guests banging doors at unsociable hours.
Although room was shower en suite, there was at our disposal a separate shared large bathroom just across the Landing. A kitchen with essential equipment, table chairs & TV was available for our use during our stay. Everything was clean and welcoming especially young lady who greeted us on arrival.
Mattress perhaps just coming to 'comfort' use end. a good nights sleep was had but the mattress could have been of slightly better quality, maybe already earmarked for renewal. Bath Sheets could have been provided but Towels were clean and adequate.
Friendliness of the staff. especially Margaret, the Manager. nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were most helpful. they made you feel welcome right from your arrival to departure.
Only problem was from other guests, not adhering to the notice on the main door entrance asking politely that they close the door quietly so as not to disturb other guests when arriving/coming in late. Also headlights from cars during late evening shining into bedrooms at the front of the building at 3am in the morning.
Welcome by Margaret, very helpful, friendly. Nice clean accommodation, nothing seemed to much trouble for staff. Will use again when in area skydiving.
Breakfast not available till after 8 at weekends,
Great value for money.
Can't think of anything
Another visit and another brilliant stay
2nd year we have stayed here to play golf at Forest Pines, great local pub 5 mins walk with good food and entertainment
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice also.
If I had any minor gripes, they would be that they could do with a reception area, and that the soap dispenser kept falling down in the shower which was minor but very irritating.
Room and en-suite clean & tidy Free wi-fi Breakfast was good & very quick Friendly welcome
Nothing really, but fire doors could do with soft closures
Excellent hospitality and offers all you could need to have a pleasant stay
Friendly and helpful staff.
I was just here for one night visiting the UK on business in the area. I arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon to find no one there. They had a free phone system by the front door which went straight through to someone who sent a young girl to let me in. She arrived after about 15 minutes. I had to fill in a small card with all the details I had already completed on the internet when I booked. She showed me to my room and then left. The first thing I did was to use the ensuite bathroom after my long journey and found that the toilet bowl had not been cleaned (I will omit the details). I was pleased that the broadband was working in the room, mid-strength, but plenty for what I needed to do that evening. The single room (14) was on the corner of the property and as the afternoon wore on it become very chilly. Although there were central heating radiators in the room they were not working. The bed was clean and comfortable. I watched Costa Rica v Greece till around midnight and then went to sleep. Unfortunately I was woken at around 5am because the sunlight was streaming into the room through the curtains so in the end not a good night's sleep. I had ordered breakfast the evening before and had this at 8.30. It was an excellent quality and varied breakfast including fruit, cereal, juices, coffee, full English, toast etc. I wasn't actually asked what I wanted included in the cooked breakfast so I got fried bread which I wouldn't have had and the eggs were fried when I would have preferred poached. The information in the room said that they could do photocopying, but this turned out not to be the case. When I came to leave the card machine was not connecting and it took over 10 minutes to get it to work, but eventually it was successful - luckily I was in no rush. It is a long time since I stayed in a B&B so I wasn't sure what to expect. The people were friendly enough in the morning, but overall just average I thought.
