Nice location, situated in a pretty village. Plenty of free parking. Staff were friendly. Room was a good size and bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was adequate. There were no ground floor rooms and I was told there would be one flight of stairs to our room and no lift. There were three flights of steep stairs! Bathroom was small and anyone more than a few stone over weight would struggle to manage in it. Hotel closed early, just after 11 p.m. on a Saturday night it was all shut up! In my opinion, this hotel is a bit expensive for what it is. |

Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely village and not too far from Oxford. Was a bit disappointed with the bar and restaurant, thought it would be more like a counrty pub/hotel. |

Location was gorgeous, staff very friendly and approachable, breakfast was outstanding. Lights not working in one of the three rooms we booked. Decor very tired and worn. Very disappointed with hotel considering the cost of the rooms. Other family members stayed in another hotel in same village, paid £10 per night less and hotel was fabulous. |

Efficient and friendly service at Reception and in restaurant. Very clean, well-furnished bedroom (not spacious but big enough to be comfortable) with en-suite toilet and bathtub (though no shower) and plenty of hot water. Excellent dinner menu and dinner. Good breakfast. Good car park. |
