If you like walking and history then this is the place to come. Amazing walks and stunning views. The view from British Hill Camp is quite something. There are a number of beautiful little towns, like Ledbury, Great Malvern etc that are steeped in history as well as great for eating out. The Eastnor castle and grounds are another place to visit and a walk uptown the obelisk is well worth the walk up to it.

Clean. Spacious room. Outstanding en-suite. Unfailingly courteous and helpful staff. Terrific menu with excellent meals, locally sourced ingredients (venison pie to die for). Nothing too much trouble. Flexible re check in/out if possible (but pre-arrange). Perfect for the theatre/cinema (two minute stroll).

We liked the hills and views the younger members of our party climbed the British camp to take photos and we all enjoyed the gas lights in West malvern. We took empty bottles and filled them.up with water out of one of the many wells in the area.

Lovely little town with independent shops great for browsing. Great choice of restaurants and bars. There is a great bar in the high street that brews beer called Weavers. At the top of the town we went to Alturo Lounge that has a fantastic choice of food and drink in a highly decorative atmosphere. We also went to Gurka Chef and sa.pled Nepalese food. It was very nice and a change from indian food. The theatre is lovely and very accessible. Friendly people. If you like walking there are great walks and history walks too!

The area looked beautiful but unfortunately we were only able to stay overnight for a friends funeral. We had to be back in London that evening for a prebooked event. Will definately go back again to explore the area.

The area of Malvern is beautiful as always but we did not actually visit the town of Malvern this time. When we have previously visited the town we found it had character but a bit of a challenge for older folks due to it being hilly. It is still worth a visit though.
A wonderful stay at this lovely establishment. Mark and Alex could not have been more friendly and helpful. We arrived without having booked any evening restaurants but it was no trouble for Mark to find and book these for us (and transport too!)
All the rooms were spotless with the appearance that they had been recently decorated.
The cooked breakfasts were superb.
Having picked a good week for the weather, a couple of early evenings were spent in the tranquil garden with a bottle of wine. So relaxing!
The Snug is one of the best B&B I have ever been to. It is super clean and cosy. Beds and sofas are comfortable. Amazing decoration and everything we need are provided and surpassed our expectations. Parking is free and easy, just parked by the roadside. The hosts, Michael and Heather, are incredibly kind and friendly. We were surprised by the fresh bread, butter & jam, eggs, milk and juice provided that save us from urgent grocery shopping for the first day breakfast.
we came for a one night stay as we were going to a dog show in the area. stayed with 3 border collies. the service was excellent and so was the room we stayed in - very comfortable and spacious for us and the dogs. the hotel even went out of their way to give us some breakfast for the next day as we couldn’t make to it in the morning so that was very considerate and appreciated. would highly recommend this hotel. the area it’s based in is beautiful also.
The Foley Arms dates back to the early Nineteenth Century and is located in the Upper part of Great Malvern. The views from the rear terrace were outstanding over towards the Cotswolds and Vale of Severn. As usual the Wetherspoons prices for both food and drink make any other hostelry seem outrageously priced. We ate and drank almost exclusively in the hotel and ate and drank well. The staff were pleasant and friendly and engaged easily with us.
Our room appeared to be recently refurbished. I particularly liked the amount of cupboard space, the size of the room and space to put toiletries in the bathroom. And it was a real double bed rather than just two singles pushed together that you fall between!
There was space for us to park in the hotel car park without a problem. The location was excellent.
The hotel was really lovely, with a lot of character throughout. The room was spacious, beds comfortable. Breakfast was very nice - there was a selection of a few items such as toast, croissants, fruit, cereal and quite a choice of hot foods you could order. The hotel is close to other locations such as Great Malvern (10 minutes drive).
Delightful hotel. It has a Jacobean feel about it. The staff were extremely welcoming of our dog and they were very good with my little boy. Beautiful views of the Malvern Hills There was a vegetarian cooked breakfast available and breakfast was included in the price of the room.We only stayed one night and I would love to go again
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - it is one of our favourites. Staff were friendly, service good, food was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was huge with a walk-in shower and a large bath with overhead shower so you could wash your hair. Great quiet location and good parking. Highly recommended.
Staff were really nice and accommodating given my work schedule and how late I would be getting in.
I couldn’t make breakfast as I had to leave early but room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet even by the road side.
Parking just outside hotel feels safe as vehicle is in eye view of room and off road.
We enjoyed our stay at the Great Malvern Hotel a year ago very much, and it was a pleasure to return. Our room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was exceptional. The croissants on our second morning were especailly appreciated. We were delighted with everything and look forward to our next visit.
The hotel is in the centre of Great Malvern so good for access to restaurants and shops. The room was quite big and the bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water for the shower/ bath. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Also, a nice bar with food.
The hotel location was superb with stunning views. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent so overall we were delighted with our stay and would return.
Lovely little hotel, beautifully decorated with lovely polite and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and the setting was perfect for walking into the centre of Great Malvern or travelling out sightseeing.
