Welcoming greeting on arrival, room, high standard and up to date; dinner, very enjoyable, I would not hesitate recommending for a one night stay or longer. |

Lots of Character and friendly staff. Great Restaurant. Room was 'slightly' small, but perfectly fine. Hallways & Doors looked a little tired.. I'd definately stay here again though. |

Quiet location, attractive hotel, friendly welcome. I had a shower in the evening, and the water was just about lukewarm. The following morning, it was not much better. I politely informed the receptionist (not the one who checked me in) when I checked out, and she just said "I'll get it looked it". No apology whatsoever, which I found very disappointing. Supplement for cooked breakfast too high. |

The general ambience of the hotel. The helpful and polite staff. The layout of the dining room - spilt between 3 interlocking areas and the wood panelling. The dinner was very good and served by an experienced and efficient waiter. Good location on ourskirts of Halifax. |
