travel cot not put up on arrival had to take down sofa bed and put it up myself.not enough towels and coffee etc for two night stay.noisy revellers running among corridor in early hours.for price i expect a full english breakfast.sink plug broken.
Value for money
Breakfast not included
Great place yo stay
Think there should be shower curtains up the shower unit
Friendly staff Nice double room
Very noisy due to proximity to airport.
the rooms were excellent and good value for money.
no cooked breakfast
I liked its free parking and wifi. the staff were all brilliant and helpful. there is a small breakfast available and lots of seating down by a bar should you want a drink. theres a kettle and coffee and tea etc in room and small tv.dressing table with mirror actually in front of it ,so easy for a lady to do her hair.
for a 3 star,there is nothing.
Location and Wi-Fi but in general good stay
The room had a broken window that would not open this was not good as it’s so hot weather ,the staff did find me a fan to use, The room looked a bit tired in appearance and need's an update
We liked the pub next door
On our 5th day our bed had not been changed or made properly. The bottom sheet never fitted, so I left it towards the bottom of the bed with duvet leaving it exposed. When returned that evening the duvet had just been pulled over the sheet I went to reception and ask do they make the beds she said yes and there changed every 3 days. It was ten'sh and said the manager had gone home. Next day the bed had fresh clean sheets and duvet , On our first night the sheets were very grey in colour and my pillow was very smelly my husband sprayed it with his aftershave.
The only good thing was the polite woman on reception.
I booked the hotel because my girlfriend just had a misscarage and both our family's kicked us out, we went into the room and there was a foul smell lingering, I went back down to reception where I was given a key to a smaller room, this room didnt have a foul smell but dirt marks on the sheets, I was tired so I ended sleeping with no blanket I then woke up to someone banging on the door at 10 o'clock saying "room service" very loudly, it was an unpleasant stay and I would like to make a formal complaint.
Staff helpful, good size room, cleanliness OK
no wardrobe or closet
Easy parking centrally located, friendly staff.
Not much, beer wasn't up too much and poor choice in bar but that's really an issue regarding the choice of hotel.
Good staff and nice room. Very comfortable
Staff were so helpful and booked all our taxis etc for us and made further enquiries on our behalf. The room and facilities were very clean and well presented.
The staff were friendly and cleaners
because we got back late on Saturday night then we had to check out by 11 and i did not sleep well due to motorway noise which i was not aware of on booking
Changes of the booking is not possible. I Had to Pay Full Price for The room even i Tried to Chancle The room early in The Morning.
The Staff were very helpfull, Excellent in fact.
The directions to the hotel were useless, the postcode given in the address takes you to the wrong side of the M6 Motorway with satnav, it took over an hour to find. Very frustrating at 10 PM after a long days work & travelling.
Good position on site parking
difficulty exiting the hotel grounds very busy road shaver point in room did not work ithought it was my shaver and went out to buy a new one which is when i found out the shaver point was faulty the only answer from the staff was another room
Lovely clean tidy comfortable room . Very pleased
Window hard to open. Wifi speed poor. TV is a bit small. Other than that, perfect.
Good value would book again
Excellent breakfast. Good central location. Next to a Fayre & Square pub. Overall, excellent value for money
Bed a bit small. Couldn't open window to get some air so was a bit warm in the night. No soap in dispenser in shower and a rather large hair on edge of shower tray. Other than that the room was spotless. Tap was dripping on wash basin and plug had been left in. Lucky we arrived when we did or room would have been flooded
Friendly, very helpful staff. Spacious accessible room. Good luggage rest area in room. Ice machine feely available, buckets on request. Generous tea/coffee/milk rations! Good TV. Even though dodgy window, which faced M6 flyover -not really that much noise - much, much quieter than I expected. Considering on ground floor near reception - not much 'people' noise either. Fab, spacious, walk-in shower - not slippy. adjustable (hate fixed shower heads!). Even if you are in your room when the maids need to clean - they leave you with more towels (even though I had spares!) and more tea/coffee/milk, in a bag on your doorstep :) Disabled persons' parking & access. Bar available, which reception staff also serve at. Exceptionally good value in my opinion! Lovely staff too! :)
Couldn't open window (handle broken), but I think it was open slightly somehow, but couldn't've closed it had I wanted to either - but it was quite warm so not much of a problem (except for the airplane noise sometimes!) Cobwebby ramp to walk up if you're disabled/can't manage to lift bags - but at least they'd got one! Bed a bit soft - but not so soft that it damaged my back (like some do). Slow bathroom sink drainage. Silly coathangers ... hate them - the ones you have to fiddle to get the wooden bit off the metal bit! Metal bit was overstretched on most and clothes just fell every time you put them on it! Annoying - wish hotels would just use ordinary hangers! Also wish hotels would cotton on to the fact that people prefer power sockets next to the bed these days (phones used for alarms are usually charged up at night?). Otherwise - all good! :)
Great helpful staff when rang and was lost due to wrong postcode listed.
The exit on the M6 for the postcode given was shut so couldn't get to hotel. Rang after getting very lost and was given a different postcode which got me straight there and would have in the first place! Asked to not be near the loud group of lads smoking outside as I arrived but was preallocated room so they were knocking on doors all night waking me up.
Directions to the hotel provided a post code to use for SAT Navs - which took us to the opposite site of the dual carriageway - may have been our particular SAT NAv, but it took us a few minutes to work out exact location of hotel. We were visiting relatives and it was a convenient, comfortable place to stay. Good continental breakfast. We would stay there again.
