The location of the hotel is not available either via Google Maps or on Sat Navs. The Postcode & Lat/Lon for the hotel is the m6 motorway next to the hotel with no exit. After 3 attempts to get to the hotel the reception staff gave me the postcode of the industrial unit across from the hotel which was then picked up by the sat nav. Apparently this is not the first time this has happened. Perhaps the booking confirmation could include a statement to this effect or an update to the postcode for navigation purposes.

Near to the m6 Very helpfull staff spacious room There was a bit of a mouldy smell coming from behind the bed. The rest of the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast I have stayed at this hotel when it was an Express by Holiday Inn and the complimentary breakfast included hot items ie sausages; eggs; beans. Breakfast at CB Inn comprised of cold items only; bread, cereals & fruit, I was extremely dissapointed. To make matters worse as I finished off my breakfast a member of staff came out of the kitchen with a hot breakfast of sausages & baked beans.

Clean & tidy The post code wasn't good for the sat-nav. It was trying to say that the middle of the m6 was the destination. Aditionally it would have been useful if customers had been notified of the name change from holiday inn, since I rove past the hotel twice - very frustrating and wasted 1.15 hours.

Mid range hotel inbetween Travelodge and Holiday Inn Express, great value continental style breakfast and a 24hr bar !! The adjacent pub was cheap and chearful , usual fayre but OK for pub food, good indian / italian restraunt found at Fort Dunlop 5 mins up the road. Only a short dive to the NEC All in all a good place for a heads down with a couple of beers on return from a days negotiating at the trade fair. The only down side being right next to the motorway it was quite noisy and the lift was constantly breaking down , we were on floor 4 so burnt off the beer we drank ,

Close to m6/m42/m5 Motorway - if attending nec can be used if other hotels closer to nec are fully booked. Has a decent/safe car park. Staff friendly and rooms spacious and very clean. Hotel is a little remote from other Restaurants or any other leisure facilities. Lift out of order on visit.

It was ideally located for the nec birmingham and ample parking and great service Our room 101 smelled of foul drains, my son's room had a blocked sink and shower. He was moved and it smelled of cigarette smoke and the next room had a leaking shower handle and the sink was blocked. The lift constantly broke down over the four days we were there

The breakfast was good value. The room had everything we needed. The wet room aspect of the bathroom. Think it was more geared for disabled people. Water went everywhere on floor and didn't drain properly.

The rooms were spacious and the bed very comfortable, Problems with the room were soon resolved and staff very helpful and friendly |I thought the breakfast area looked very uninviting and I would not have chosen to eat there are sit in there. I am unsure whether evening meals were served there and I saw no one eating or drinking in the area, so this as its your first impression needs to be resolved as the rooms themselves were well decorated and comfortable so it gave the wrong impression

Very clean, modern and comfortable rooms Lift was broken and had three flights of stairs to climb which was difficult as I am recovering from a knee operation and perhaps the hotel should inform customers beforehand as anybody disabled would not be able to access rooms.

Good location, handy for m6 good for spotting stobart trucks on M6 On my booking form I asked for a quite room, its obvious that in this particular part of birmingham they cannot read, I got a room right next to the m6, it was so close I could see truck drivers eating their yorkie bars, on top of that the window did not shut fully, and the only way I could sleep was by wearing ear plugs and covering my head with a pillow, no soap in the shower dispensers and dirty toilet roll, and a noisy electric storage heater, with tempratures below freezing outside I needed to leave heater on to stay warm. when mentioned to staff, the only reply i got was i,m sorry, sorry that i,m now £55 lighter and after sleeping almost at eye level with M6 truckers , if youre a stobart truck spotter book this hotel,

Standard of room, cleanliness. Repair carried out on request - no fuss. Couldn't eat in the building - had to go next door to a pub and eat solo. Better to do so in a hotel!

We had trouble with our television not working and it was no trouble to the receptionist to try and sort it out while we were out, when we returned she offered us another room because she hadn't been able to - very much appreciated
