Score from 108 reviews Superb
Receptionists really pleasant, especially as they must really get tired of trying to explain about the parking charge to irate customers.
The £5 overnight parking charge is akin to blackmail, especially as it's in the middle of nowhere!.the bottled water in the room £3.75 !!! Robbery ? .how stupid of management..... Only 3 bottles sold a week we were told,if it was a reasonable price they would sell more...false economy?. Bad management .
Staff excellent bus to airport handy Rooms clean Food OK and well priced Reception opening times
Parking a bit tight
Not being aware at time of booking that a £5 overnight parking charge was not included in the room rate or as an extra. these additional charges need more prominence for future bookings
Reasonable god Hotel near Bristol airport. Good Breakfast Buffet Friendly Staff
Wifi is very slow and the upgraded wifi fast speed did not Work You have to pay 5 GBP to park your car on top of the Price of the hotel room. Bad light in the bathroom - to weak
Location Friendly staff Convenient Has a good restaurant
Slow and poor wifi
the bed was uncomfortable and pillows were to hard.no other ones were available.didnt sleep a wink all night.i wasnt aware i had to pre book a car park space
The room was very clean, well laid out and the bed was extremeley comfortable. I ordered room service and I got exactly what I ordered within a reasonable time. The staff I came into contact with were on the whole very welcoming and cheerful
I went to the bar to get a drinl at a about 9.45. There was nobodu manning the bar although 2 mebers of staff were clearing glasses and vacumming the floor near by. I had to approach the meber of staff on reception who then rang somebody to come and serve me. My sleep was disturbed until approx 3.30 with noisy guests running up and down the corridors, and even noisier guest smoking out side. a member of staff should have asked them to be a bit more considerate. At the very least there should be a sign or two around the place reminding people that some other folk might well be wanting to sleep at 3 in the morning (premier inn ahve the signs, and a good nights sleep policy too!!)
Pay to park car
Location in respect of airport. Availability of free access to computer for Internet needs...good for those who don't have a lap-top or smartphone.
Charge for car parking was an unpleasant surprise. It was free for patrons last time I stayed at this hotel.
Friendliness of staff.
No accessible smoking area. The food, and slight boarding school atmosphere. Should have free courtesy bus to airport or free parking. All a bit expensive.
the extreme charges in the bar and room. £3-59 for bottled water! All the extra additional charges - airport shuttle - wifi - Just felt we were not customers but were there for them to extract as much money from us as possible. Will not use Holiday Inn again.
Can't beat it for convenience if you have a flight to catch. Very nice quiet and rural location, although on the main A38 a few miles from the airport. Very good rooms, lovely bed.
Car parking issue..they forgot to get me to sign in to the machine which checks your car registration. All too regimented for my liking and added stress on checking out because the receptionists didn't know how to use the machine (outsourced function to some other company!)
Very apologetic when I was fined for parking in error. Sorted it out for me and rang me back to apologise. I was pretty upset, which they turned round
I got home to have been fined £100 for the car park even though I had payed. I rang the hotel and they were very apologetic. The Manager sorted it out. Rang back and apologised again.
a problem over parking charges was resolved very quickly and without fuss. Well done to all involved
Spacious, well appointed & quiet.
Breakfast at £12.50 was a bit pricey for a buffet full English which was very average.
The hotel was close to the airport and there was an ease of booking in and out. Good facilities, very clean. Excellent value for money and a good start to our holiday.
Bed comfortable. Near the airport. Good reception staff and restaurant staff.
Paying for parking. The Greek salad which was a very odd mixture of leaves and a strange dressing that no greek would have recognised. The Thai cod sauce was out of a tin.
Staff were courteous and helpful. Comfortable rooms. Good value. Airport shuttle excellentI
Friendly staff, comfortable room, very close to Bristol airport.
Breakfast good but over priced
Pleasant staff, efficient
Very slow wifi
Comfy beds, reception open and friendly when we arrived at 1am. Bar open too :)
Quite noisy early in the morning. We only got about 4 hours sleep
One night stay and it was my birthday...lo and behold there was a cake in our room..and I met the lady who made it..AND a complimentary drink at the bar..maybe I will come here for my birthday every year!! Never felt so special!! haha
My fault probably thought I had booked car parking for 7 nights...wrong..but reception staff were fantastic and organised airport parking for us..turned a negative into a very positive
Convenient for the airport
The parking charge for paying guests and also that it had been increased in the time between my booking and the stay.
