food - choice poor - served cold no comfortable seating for bar food at times receptionist not friendly - appeared uninterested

I stayed in the hotel with my daughter (3yrs) on the way from airport to home as arriving so late - adn it was very nice experience, called hotel from airport phone, got picked by minibus in about five minutes, in hotel very friendly and helpful receptionist - offered us drinks and small refreshment, just very pleasant especially after long day and late flight. So, we'll be back

Ideal location for the airport with reasonably priced parking and regular shuttle service to airport

Poor internal signage made it difficult to find the lifts from the first floor!

Its very convenient for bristol airport as we had a very early flight. Rooms comfortable and clean.

Found the menu a bit limited, however what we did have was O.K. and the service was V.good.

Excellent breakfast. Very helpful night staff when we arrived back after 11pm requiring something to eat and drink

Usual holiday inn standards. Clean ,Peaceful, and friendly helpfull staff. Three pound fifty per person was charged for transfer to the airport which given the distance was enough to pay, and was extra to the room rate,, having said that the service was faultless.and trouble free. I have used this Hotel before and I would use it again.

Location, price and quality of hotel.

The convenience of being close to Bristol airport for an early flight the following morning. Pleased that prices were not increased dut to it being New Year's Eve. Reception staff booked a taxi for New Year's Day as soon as we arrived. I would recommend this Holiday Inn.

Excellent location for a stay before an early flight from Bristol. Comfortable bar with reasonably priced food. Couldn't fault anything really.

The reception and restaurant staff were pleasant and excellent at thier duties. The new Manager of just 3 weeks as at 4th January 2012 is a very worthy candidate for the position, he, his reception and waiting staff, the comfortable room, the immaculate cleanliness of the entire Hotel and the very efficient shuttle too and from the Airport are the reasons that My wife and I are happy to return for our prepaid overnight stay 21st March 2012 but we will be very much on our guard as far as the kitchen is concerned.

The company are letting their staff down badly on uniformed attire. The kitchen is very poorly run. Though the complimentory bread roll & butter for all at the table whilst waiting for our order to take its place in the kitchen was a nice touch this was then ruined by not supplying the usual accompanying roll & butter to those that had ordered a soup starter. The Chef's need to buy-in quality in order to produce a quality meal becoming of these restaurant surroundings. The adult portions are sized half way between that of an adults and a childs and need to be increased by 20-25%. This should be achieved within a £1.50 menu price increase as the present menu price in my opinion is already achieving an adequate profit margin based upon my 26 years in the trade. I'm sure the absense of milk portions in the room on arrival was a complete oversight on the cleaners part but one thing I do remain puzled about is that 3 Italian guests were told there was a 30-40 minute wait for a table when the 4 seated table next to ours was unoccupied for the entire evening.

Very comfortable for what we wanted. Convenient for airport with bar and restrurant at reasonable price.

As we arrived at five to eleven at night we were given 5mins to choose a snack meal before it closed. We then had to eat it in the lounge as we were told the resturant was closed for cleaning. Both being tall it was very uncomfortable to eat a meal at a coffee table, infact I was on my knees. My wife couldn't finish her meal as she found it too uncomfortable. We didn't see any cleaning done while we were eating. We also thought the transport to and from the airport was free or at least from airport to Hotel. We were surprised at being charged for both journies. This does put another £14 on top of the price
