It was perfect. Very close to airport but I didn't hear a plane once. Ideally situated for travelling about this beautiful part of England. Staff were exceedingly helpful & friendly. |

Excellent location for the airport together with the ease regards check in and check out.Our room and communal areas were to a standard you expect from hi. The snack meal we had was definitely not to any standard apart from low and will not be remembered as the highlight of our stay. |

The lift did not work, people arrived with several suitcases, no one helped to carry luggage, I was given a card to a room, which did not work, had to go down to ask if correct card for entry, assured yes, it was then corrected, when I entered the room it had amother customers luggage in it, I rang down from daughters room, told to come down again, said no assistant to come up, no lift not my fault, walked down two flights once not again. Apologies given, persozn had not checked I had been given wrong room............ I later found out that the lift has been out of action for 4 weeks, this was before I booked, we were not informed when booking. I did not like any of the above. The Hotel restaurant and Bar food very limited, I was with 3 Vegetarians, very ,imited selection.. 3 of my party ordered same food, when arrived the portions were totally different, one bowl full, one barely covered bottom, other medium amount, when this was queried, bowls were filled to an appropriate amount |

the location in respect of the airport from which we were flying! The food in the dining room was very, very poor. It was so cold that the butter would not melt on top of the potatoes and the vegetables were not only cold but were not cleaned properly! The dirt on the greens was very apparant! Upon complaint to the dining room staff, we were not offered a freshly cooked meal or an alternative! We chose this hotel because of the reputation of the Holiday Inn hotels and therefore did not consider one of the many alternatives in the area. It was the first night of our holiday and therefore we were looking forward to a lovely experience! I wrote a letter before we departed and handed it in to give to the hotel manager in the morning. To date, I have not had a written response! |

Stayed at the Holiday Inn the night before an early morning flight from Bristol Airport. Efficient check in, nice rooms and all at a good rate. |

The restaurant on site had good food and a nice wine selection. The hotel provided all the services needed by an international business traveler. The restaurant service was very slow. It is listed as an Airport Hotel but it is 7 miles from the airport. |

The hotel was easy to find (it was dark). I received a warm welcme at reception. I was impressed with the attention to detail eg eggs at breakfast are done to order and not left to solidify! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. |

I had an early get away to the airport and the early morning staff were very nice and helpful I did think it was a little expensive as I was a single guest and had to pay for a double. I understand that the housekeeping is just the same as having two people in a room as I have a guest house myself. |

Our flight was delayed slightly and we did not arrive until midnight - inspite of the late hour we had a really excellent welcome by the duty staff and were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble which is a great comfort when we had been travelling for several hours Yes, I was given a disabled room with a wet room shower - the water did not drain away very quickly and doors were extremely heavy to open and close. As I had booked the rooms well in advance I was not happy about this |
