Expensive on Thursday night
Location, parking, clean, good breakfast,staff.
Continually changing parking tickets every time you go in and out.
good breakfast, clean and very helpful staff
uncomfortable mattress as suffer from back pain
The on site restaurants were amazing, especially the Sampan.
The mattress was a bit too firm for me
Lovely helpful staff particularly Hannah who not only gave us directions but printed them out too also breakfast team were very attentive
doors banging instead of gliding shut quietly and they were not soundproof as several people had conversations outside our door that we heard word for word and they were not talking loudly
Excellent staff service. Extreme professional and helpful. Very well organised and great food quality. Very good room facilities
Noise from other neighbours over night
Excellent staff - very friendly & helpful
Bed was a little uncomfortable - basic double, am used to hotels providing king size
Staff was very helpfull
Got to the room the handle of our door came off in my hand has it was raining there was a constant drip out side on the building which kept me awake and the noise from other doors slaming by other residents
Front desk staff were first class. Friendly, attentive and extremely professional. The little touches such as the Mars bar and bottled water in the room made one feel right at home.
Overall it would be unfair to be critical. We enjoyed one evening in the facility and enjoyed a good meal, albeit, a little expensive...
The room and hotel was pleasant.
Pricey for the class of hotel Room service was not reliable - once they answered the phone (which took an age) they said my order would be half an hour. When I called back an hour later they stated it would be with me shortly. I just about had enough energy to open the door when it finally arrived. They could have at least rang me back to say there was a delay. Inexcusable
Clean and relatively quiet location Convenient for stay in Bristol especially on marathon day
Pillows to hard Windows opening only tiny bit Not very good breakfast , Little choice and no even butter, just Flora which is no no for me. Cold dining room , we were frizzing during breakfast so did not stay long as uncomfortable .
Easy to find, Comfortable, lots of parking. Shower good. So most important things were good. Late Bar, but not cheap.
Strange car entry and leaving system that didn't work very well. Cost of internet access unexpected, but mobiles worked close to window 3G. Didn't have time for breakfast unfortunately. Booked Twin beds told would be a double, but eventualy supplied twin. Very few spare sockets in the room bring extension lead next time. No Biscuits!
Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast and good location for visiting the local area. Swimming pool was an added bonus.
It was a bit tricky to find as there is a funny one way system.
The staff were helpful and professional and did offer a (small) level of compensation for the reservation error.
We booked the hotel on the basis that we were allocated two rooms, one with a double bed (for myself and my wife) and one for our son (18) and daughter (16). For some reason we ended up with two double-bed rooms and my son had to make do with an uncomfortable camp bed/portable bed. Not much sleep was had on his part and both rooms were very hot as they didn't have air-con.
Ease of access, good parking facilities, helpful reception staff, good facilities. Excellent breakfast range.
Unstocked mini bar, no easy chair in room. Only coffee/tea in room. No hot chocolate or biscuits. Tedious menu on TV and didn't show details of all programmes in guide. Limited range of channels.
Leisure facilities were very pleasant Room clean and comfortable Breakfast choice and quality very good
Had to queue to be seated for breakfast and thought the side area we were placed in was a bit odd. It was round a corner and quite hazardous as you could bump into everyone coming round with their breakfast
Older style hotel that has been recently renovated. We were very comfortable. The selection of pillows for comfort was great!
Poorly signed and difficult to locate. Overpriced but we did stay on a weekend night.
Usual good service.
There were two latitude/longitude details on the receipt; we chose the wrong one. Will be back when road works finished.
Staff all very pleasant and helpful; a bit on the basic side for 4 star and could do with some refurbishment. Having said that, it was an excellent stop off on the way to Cornwall and met expectations
The hotel was a great stay for business and the gym was small but had enough equipment in there to train. The food and service in the bar and Thai restaurant was excellent.
The friendliness and helpfulness of all staff even down to a porter in a corridor who wished us good evening. The pool, The sampan restaurant. very good accommodation
Your H&S rep should look at a few tripping hazards caused by carpet/ hard floor junctions leading to dining rooms and the small step up from room to ensuite.also my wife fell down the run of 5 steps up to the bedrooms off the lobby and had to be treated by your excellent 1st aider. the nosings seemed quite smooth. luckily only minor grazes. Could be worth looking at better non slip inserts though
Remodeling a room when people are in it. That's poor .
We had booked a family suite and had to wait until11 pm for my 8 year old daughters bedding to arrive even though we had called 3 times asking for it...we were very unhappy.
My room 352 backed onto the function room Being a Saturday .a wedding reception was being held The noise was dreadful..the worse nights sleep I've had in years
Clean Friendly helpful staff
Double not twin - couldn't seem to book twin which would have been preferable as was sharing a room with my daughter!
