was really relaxing and quite!!

we did had diner in the hotel restaurant and we ask a rose bottle and the waiter come to the table with the bottle already open!!!i ask the waiter(Jason,4/05/12) why he didnt open the bottle at the table??!!and he was unable to give any explination!!!!that made me think .....was really pinot grigio in the bottle or was a cheaper version of rose????

Convenient for visiting relatives

The breakfast was fantastic - eat as much as you want! The conveyor toast machine was another matter as it set fire to the toast! Hotel was clean(ish). Loved all of the tame rabbits out in the gardens.

The toaster machine sets fire to the toast and apparently has been doing this for years! Smoke sets off fire alarm. Very Expensive hotel. Very expensive food. Long long wait for food once ordered, the drinks did not even arrive. I think 3 stars not 4 would be more appropriate.

Beds very comfortable, a courtesy call to check all was ok was a nice suprise.

Breakfast is very expensive, £9.50 if booked at reception or £13.50 if not!!Very expensive so we headed into town to find a better range.

Close proximity to Motorway network and to uwe, which we were visiting.

They use the smallest double beds possible

Ease of parking. Fast check-in. Nice view of the lake and fountain. Friendly staff in the restaurant.

Reception staff apparently not from the Bristol area They were unable to give fairly simple directions on getting to an address in Gloucester Road and there was no map available at the counter. It would be useful to have the girls behind the counter better prepared for such customer enquiries.

The all round feel of the place,would stay there again.good food pleasent staff,good size rooms.

Lack of signage to tell you where inn is on road side and also enterance to drive

I did not like the attitude of one staff member which I did report to the main reception.

Hi, we stay just one night the bed was lovely room was fine tv 30in food was lovely did not have wait for the food that was good , breakfast was lovely eat as much as you want, staff are so helpful, i will stay again an again thanks terry & kathy

Gorgeous view of the lake and my toddler loved walking outside seeing all the rabbits!

Didn't like the confusion/conflicting information recieved regarding the use of travel cots within the room. Didn't like the walls being so thin that we were woken several times by loud snoring from the next room - quite shocking!

I don't usually complain, but we did not recieve 2 wake up calls, the fridge was dirty and the breakfast was very expencive for what was delived. I would recomend the hotel mainly for travelling business people and not families with older children, as the location is remote and found there was nothing local for them to do.
