This stylish, contemporary hotel is well-placed just 2 miles from Cambridge’s historic city centre. Air-conditioned rooms each have satellite TV, and there is free parking and a hotel bar.
Score from 568 reviews Good
Room, leisure complex, breakfast all good as well as roads destinations we wanted to visit.
Overpriced drinks and food have to pay for wifi as a paying guest food portions dissapointing
Poor room, not great value for money and apparently refurbished yet hasn't been done well
Not far from central Cambridge, easy to cycle in or less than 5 monies via car
comfortable room, good breakfast
Although the bed was comfortable, as with most hotels the duvet was too heavy and hot for our liking, but probably suits most people.
Arrived very very earlier and a room was made ready for us without hesitation, very good value.
Quite a long way from the car park to the front door.
Not great for value for money- stay in executive rooms but it didn't include breakfast within the price which was disappointing. Also the meal from the restaurant was expensive.
The hotel was clean and the staff were excellent. Lovely room and facilities. Great location, easy to get to the main centre.
Restaurant meal very poor and expensive.
Ease of parking, open area
On arrival, at 11.00 p.m., it took us 15 mins to check in, even with no queue. When we finally got to our room (a long hike) the keys didn't work. When the duty manager joined us to try and gain access, we found the room was already occupied. Was put right eventually, with a smile and apologies, but a very poor start.
Requested a wake up call which was forgotten. Our room was a little dated with no information about the hotel or Cambridge although this was available at the front desk. Room rather warm for sleeping.
Majority of staff were very helpful. Food was good. Plenty of free parking and good location just a couple of miles from the centre of Cambridge with a taxi journey costing approx. £8 each way although there is a bus service nearby apparently
Given a room with no window. Tip added on to bill automatic in restaraunt, no choice.
Clean and comfortable. good facilities.
The size of the rooms and the overall upkeep of the building. Although near major road this was not the slightest problem
Clean , modern , facilities Staff and location
Pricy on the drinks.
Good standard. Close to City centre along with park and ride. Nice meals.
A minor quibble but we find the "perfume" in the bedroom area cloying and too strong.
Bath didnt work not clean either
Lack of character
Easy check out
We had booked the executive but they had given it out ! So had a twin room first night ! Then had to move rooms ! The gym could do with tele text on tv's for the news ! The food/ duck dish was quiet bland!
Parking Breakfast Gym Spacious Room Location
Sadly, food and drinks were really expensive and staff had a way of selling 'extras' which one could think of normal accompaniments to the meal or complimentary nibbles with drinks. Actually being asked if we'd like crisps when ordering drinks, we assumed it would be a bowl of complimentary crisps (as always given on the continent as the norm). Being charged for the 'packet' of crisps with our extortionately priced drinks did come as a bit of a shock, I have to say. Having said that, despite the prices ... food was beautifully cooked and the free breakfast was lovely.
Really nice hotel which is friendly, clean, close to Cambridge and has great facilities - swimming pool, gym etc.
The black out screen couldn't be close totally. Also the fire alarm constantly flashes a red light and is placed right on top of the head part of the bed thereby interrupting your sleep. No free breakfast.
They have an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Towels and toiletries are provided as well as many other complimentary stuff if you asked for them like toothbrush, razor, nail file, sewing kit. The bathroom has a heated towel rack to dry your wet clothes. Safe is provided in the room.
Room service order got mixed up and had to wait while food was delivered at different times.
Was expecting noise from A14 but we were allocated a room at the back and were pleasantly surprised at the quietness
- Expensive Wi-fi. - Cold shower water. - No windows in room.
