We have stayed in Holiday Inns on a couple of occasions; each time, the standard of comfort and the general experience has smacked of professionalism.
We never had a meal at the Hotel so, couldn't really comment on food.
Nothing too much trouble for the wonderful staff team. Took my neice for an overnight last minute stay. Had a lovely lunch before we checked in and room service later both proved a hit with a fussy teenager. When we had checked out realised i had left a make up bag in the room. A mere 5 minutes later having dispatched someone to check for me the bag was returned to me. With excellant facilities, efficent and very friendly staff,a clean comfortable room I would definetly recommend the hotel to anyone considering a break in Cambridge.
Only negative was the noise from other inconsiderate guests further along the corridor banging doors and shouting in the early hours.
The hotel was quiet, comfortable and humdrum. The staff were nice.
We had no nasty things to report. The only drawback was that you couldn't really go out from there on foot - you had to drive.
The location was perfect The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I was able to leave my car at the hotel to go to meetings in the centre and then come back to collect it before I started the journey back home. Also good to know that room service was available (I wasn't aware of this before I arrived but good to know for future)
We liked the comfortable facilities and the ability to control our own heating in the room. The availability of a restaurant was great.
Disappointed that we would have had to pay for our Wi-Fi. As it was we took the loyalty card and got it free. Every hotel we have stayed in provide free wiFi.
Complementary use of gym and pool. Comfortable bed, warm room.
There was a problem with the booking on arrival. I had not booked two rooms for two nights as the desk clerk told me from computer records but one room for two nights online
Comfy beds , clean room and good pool & spa facility
Staff very rude who worked on the bar Very snappy and not social Food was burnt and when complained no thought was bothered. Got charged £5 for a coke at room service and given no recipes ?
The rural location was pleasant and the staff were very nice. A couple of negatives mentioned elsewhere, but I particularly commend Lucie on the front desk at checkout who was a great ambassador for the hotel.
I was given a twin bed room when I had requested a double. Also the meal in the restaurant was mediocre. Other guests were noisy at 2am even though the room was supposedly in the "quiet" part of the hotel.
Nice reception staff, very helpful.
We were told swimming pool was open until 10 pm but you are not actually allowed in after 9 pm. Staff were not friendly or helpful in Health club.
Very good bed, comfortable rooms, good restaurant
A little bit remote location. Expensive WiFi with a poor signal in some rooms
staff , comfort
I like the spa facilities and the helpful staff.
Staff, rooms and location. Enjoyed the pool and steam room. Breakfast was OK but pretty standard for type of hotel.
No bad experiences.
Big room size, delicious restaurant (dinner) and great variety for breakfast.
Spa area was not clean and not very realxing. Wellness Center is more like a fitness club.
Location and facility's
Very nice room Amazingly comfy bed and nice bathroom
The room was at the other end of the hotel. No lift and a 5 min walk where you have to go outside then back in to reach the end rooms Considering I upgraded to the executive suite I didn't expect to have such a long walk with luggage to get there
Recepción staff was very porofessional (especially the charming Lucie!) polo and sauna were the favourite for my kids. Belen and Santi at breakfast were amazing taking care of every detail. British breakfast was very good good quality and they have a machine to make creps! Location it's only ten minutes driving from the centre of Cambridge
They can improve the cleaning in locker room
Particularly the lovely receptionist Ruby. Very friendly, efficient and helpful. Pleasure to deal with which makes all the difference. Regards Tatyana
Wifi not included. Location a little secluded but as we're driving it was ok, however wouldn't choose this location if was coming for a pleasure visit as a little too far from town
Modern room, nice spa, quiet restaurant with good food and a good wine list
The receptionist could have been more knowleadgeable and better trained towards European clients
Bit surprised at the restaurant, would have liked it to be a little bit more comfortable.
The one bad point u could say about this hotel is the price of the drinks. One double vodka and one single £16.
Good value for money
Have to pay for wifi
Structure of Hotel, Staff and room service
No Wi Fi free Wi Fi , and Heating was not proper
