Lovely room excellent staff nothing was to much trouble and if there was a problem it was resolved very quickly.
Wonderful staff, great breakfast, especially the fried eggs! Everyone was very friendly and helpful - made us feel really welcome. Lovely pool as well.
Lovely calm atmosphere, very clean, staff very helpful and attentive. Would definitely stay here again.
nothing springs to mind
When we complained about having being allocated a room with disable facilities we were promptly upgraded to an executive room
Friendly staff, simple but freshly cooked food, very clean. A perfect overnight break from a busy road trip.
Our bedroom was a long way from the restaurant and the car park for getting our suitcase.
The pool facilities including jacuzzi and sauna were great. Breakfast was a good selection of cooked foods , fruit and pastries. Loved the pancake maker! Room with a view over the pony paddock had a relaxing rural feel.
The hotel was in a very good location for Cambridge. Park and ride was 5 minutes away for the city centre. The hotel surroundings were very peaceful and the quality of the bedrooms was of a high standard
Quiet Great breakfast Friendly staff on reception Comfortable bed
Noisy fridge in room Mobile reception not good
Service attitude of the staff. They go out of their way to make you happy with your stay there.
Everything was OK. the room is small. the bathroom is ok but has a few forgotten hair on the floor. the beds are ok but really single ones.
the place is clearly worn out after 20-30 years of use without major renovation. it's a decent 3 star hotel priced as a 4 star. There is a strong aftertaste of overpaying
countryside, comfortable room and bed
We arrived earlier than anticipated and our room was ready for us. Staff were so helpful and friendly .The room was very big and airy with fab view of the grounds. Every day our tea bags and milk in the room were renewed. This was great as we were at the festival and glad of a cuppa when we got back. The grounds of the hotel are amazing and it was a pleasure to go back each evening. Like staying in the countryside but with the city right at hand.
The only drawback to staying in the holiday inn is the distance from Cambridge city centre. There is a public bus but we got a taxi in and out costing £8 each way. On the plus side the grounds are fantastic and the area is so quiet. We had the best nights sleep ever when we were there. We will definitely be returning to this hotel when we return to Cambridge.
Hotel was clean with a spacious carpark. Bed was comfortable.
Location was a bit far from anything so ended up having z fairly ordinary meal at the hotel. We used the local bus which was handy but unfortunately the last bus left Cambridge at 5:30. Way too early for a sunny Sunday to have to return to a hotel. We ended up spending 14 pounds on a taxi to get home. Would recommend people stay more central.
We requested a quiet room without an adjoining door and we were very happy with the room we were allocated.
Very helpful when we asked a question to the receptionist
We enjoyed everything
Near motor way easy to find, quiet stay nice bar evening with perfect service from bar staff
Stayed in Executive room and they still wanted an extra £16 for the wifi !!!!!
Very clean Nice staying
For the wifi you have to pay very bad
No surprises clean and comfortable room. Helpful staff.
We liked the location & easy access from the number 8 bus from Cambridge. This is the second time we have stayed & we will probably visit again. We also liked the horses, lake & green woodpeckers who were feeding on the lawn.
The location was good for my purpose, very close to the Spire Hospital. Friendly restaurant staff.
This felt more like a Holiday Inn Express than their premium product, but it was priced above Express rates; the restaurant food was expensive. Only fair VFM.
The room and the bar and lounge space.
Car park was too far away and it was raining!
