2 miles from Cambridge city centre, the hotel offers attractive 4-star accommodation in a convenient location, on junction 32 of the A14, with excellent access to the region’s main roads.

Whether you are exploring the region as a tourist or visiting the area on business, the hotel’s convenient location and great access to the area’s major road network make it a good base. Newmarket Racecourse, Duxford Imperial War Museum and all of the attractions of historic Cambridge, including the city’s ancient colleges, are within easy reach.

The hotel offers a choice of comfortable accommodation, with both standard and executive rooms. The excellent facilities include 10 conference rooms, a full-service bar and restaurant, a children’s outside play area and the Spirit Health Club, which offers a pool, sauna, jacuzzi and a range of treatments and facilities, which should be booked prior to arrival. Nice decor

Had to stay in a smoking room as all non smoking had been taken even
though I booked a non smoking room.

Comfort and convenience of hotel

The restaurant and restaurant staff. In particular, the carvery on the
Saturday night, about which we were not informed, was inadequate and
appalling.

staff were very helpful despite reading some bad comments prior to the stay but was pleasantly surprised, must have had a change around!

the prices of mini bar and menu were outrageous . Where i would have liked to have eat in the comfort of my room, i couldnt justify the prices you charge so had to go in to town to find somewhere more reasonable. Also some of the machines in the gym are death traps, i would advised these be removed before someone gets seriously injured. Lat pull down and upright row namely

Location

Trouble from noisy abusive guests who ransacked the hotel , police were
called in by the hotel , the kitchens & bedrooms were ransacked this was
not the hotels fault it could have happened any were , the staff were
more than apologetic ,and dealt with the matter very graciously after
the event.It is I am sure unusual for such a situation to occur at such
a quality hotel.

The beetle/cockroach I saw scuttle past my bedroom door. The fact that the shower was almost impossible to turn on (despite the fact that the room was supposed to be equipped for disabled people!)

The restaurant - had a pasta dish, a microwave dinner would have been nicer. Was good value for money for families - but if you can avoid eating there I would! Apart from the restaurant everything else in the hotel was perfect.

I liked the location and enjoyed the walk along the lake. The swimming
pool and Bar facilities were excellent facilities for me.

The shower unfortunately did not work for us
