Nice staff only downside was I was on the second floor there was no lift and I was on my own with a baby and all the clobber. The staff however did help me x
The Jacuzzi is not working... we booked the hotel to relax and use the facilities advertized but the jacuzzi is broken;(
Liked the location
Didn't like the pool was cold, some was closed off. The room was cold.
Fire alarm going off several times in the very early morning
poor water pressure in room took ages to fill bath and shower hardly worked
The swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms.
The bar prices were too expensive.
Friendly staff. Nice room.
Relaxed yet efficient
Paying for Wifi
Dee the receptionist on departure, bed was comfortable
Room was dated, bathroom grimy, dead bugs in light shade, peeling paint and grubby carpets...noisy next to train track carrying freight traffic every twenty mins, walls to connecting rooms thin and could hear most things including toilet activities not pleasant
The swimming pool - nice to have garden view from the pool The food was plentiful and tasty - great breakfast The hotel seemed peaceful, despite a conference taking place
My Caesar salad was a bit of a rip-off - £9.50 for lettuce, boiled egg and some parmesan shavings is a bit steep (tasty though and just what I needed in the evening after a large family lunch)
WIFI at £16 a night. Ludicrous rip off. I used 4G instead.
Restaurant food was awful and disappointing (except breakfast)
room was large and comfortable. restaurant within hotel was fine quality and enjoyed breakfast.
Not much drink selection at the bar. noise from train is annoying (needs insulating wall and trees). Wifi is very expensive so not ideal for staying several days.
Beautiful grounds. Comfortable room. Very friendly staff.
Very basic facilities but room and bed were comfortable. Shower wasn't great.
Staff are smiley most of the time
Most rooms have interconnecting door, and you can hear everything from the next door, and they can hear you. After requesting and granted a late checkout at 1.30pm, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door at 12 asking when i will vacate the room as she wants to finish work and go home No scanner was available for use No tv remote was found in my room. The front desk actually took one from another room and gave it to me.
Some staff were unfriendly and some rude
We had a connecting room, very noisy. Didn't get any sleep, had room 247. Asked for toothpaste at 11pm when we arrived back to the hotel, reception told me that someone would bring some up within 10 minutes, waited half hour and no one came.
One member of staff in particular who i unfortunatly didnt get the name off.She worked the main reception late on October 15th and early on October 16th if this helps. First my boyfriend has forgot his phone charger and she was very helpful in suggesting where to get one from and she also recomended what time to catch a taxi to the zoo the next day. After my trip to the zoo the next night she had asked how my trip was and if i had enjoyed myself. I thought this was really nice as she must serve many people yet she had remembered.I have never met a more cheerful friendly receptionist then this lovely lady.
Feel like at home
Good for our needs. Pleasant staff.
location perfect for wedding near by bar staff friendly
room keys didn't work to the brink of insanity , fix the swipe card system and your hotel will be great!!!!!!
Rooms Food Bar Staff
The key cards to get in the rooms never worked properly and my family had to keep going to reception to get more!! No bath robes in our rooms yet we asked for executive room.
Spring board for sight seeing
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff very welcoming and competent Many thanks for another great stay
Location was perfect for what we wanted. Size of room was adequate.
Asked for a wake up call that did not happen. Fortunately I used my mobile phone alarm as back up. Stains on the sheets and the bathroom had hair on the floor behind the door. The language of the staff who I'm guessing we're off duty whilst in the smoking area that guests also use (they were swearing whilst talking to each other with guests in the area or passing, some with young children).
