Bed was uncomfortable - a dip in the middle caused us to roll inwards. Continental breakfast was good but orange juice was weak and scrambled eggs anaemic. However, there was plenty to eat.
Good modern hotel with excellent facilities.
The breakfast could do with improving by having bacon and fried eggs available instead of just scrambled eggs.
The hotel was convenient and the staff very helpful. The room we had was very clean and comfortable and functional. The décor was modern and light and it was convenient for an overnight stay.
The tea facilities in the room were minimal. We had a evening meal in the bar which was of an extremely poor standard. We ordered a burger and and the"award winning" pie. Both were disappointing The breakfast was Ok but again, the standard of the produce, in our opinion, was poor.
We asked to change room when we arrived. The staff member we asked was very helpful and changed our room immediately without aby fuss.
Excellent hotel overall
Very busy in the breakfast room
Room and shower size, modern bathroom.
Bed not that big and breakfast only ok
Friendly staff very helpfull. Nice and clean. Great shower.
How untidy/dirty the breakfast area was and only one toaster working.
Clean and comfortable and the position of the hotel was only 10mins from Luton airport breakfast was good and even though the hotel was busy the breakfast food was topped up regularly
Staff and convenient location.
Breakfast was awful!
Staff were courteous and prompt to respond to a request. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet on the two separate occasions we stayed there.
The breakfast is adequate .
The staff were great
More choice on menu in restaurant
It was clean, spacious, friendly staff and was easy to locate. The breakfast was excellent, couldn't have asked for more. Would visit again anytime I come to Luton.
My room was so close to the lift and I could hear people getting on and off the lift through out the night which affected my sleep.
Our room was very clean and tidy, most impressive. Shower was huge with plenty of room for a big man. Breakfast was plentiful although a bigger choice would not go amiss. Usual hotel noises but on the whole quiet or maybe we were just lucky.
Didn't like the swivel chair would much prefer an easy chair for a bit of comfort. Perhaps a bit better quality toilet paper would do wonders instead of the finger pokey through stuff they have now.
Limited Menu for evening meal, had to go out to eat.
The hotel is situated at the edge of the town and one has to use a car to get to restaurants etc. We had a nice room with a beautiful rural outlook. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.
Food I had in the restaurant was below average for quality against cost. I had a burger with cheese and bacon. I think I would eat and drink outside the hotel if and when I use holiday inn express in the future.
We Enjoyed our stay. And we was very happy with it all 10/10.
Clean,handy location,free wifi
Sound of banging pipes or something all night long didn't stop till the morning ?
We checked in @ 10pm, but from the minute we arrived to the time we checked out we had a very pleasant experience from the staff and facilities on site..
Room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Bathroom very nice. No complaints about the room.
Cooked Breakfast was the same every day and not very exciting. Uninteresting packet bread, not much fruit, juice was apparently very watered down on day 3 of our stay!, it had been very nice prior to that, toaster burnt the toast. Just not a good experience to start the day. Dinner advertised in the lift being from 5.30-9.30pm, do you do dinner?? Apart from one menu in the lift there was no other meals advertised?
Bedrooms perfectly adequate. Staff very pleasant
The most appalling inedible breakfast I have ever experienced. Dirty cutlery and china, food looked so disgusting I could not face eating anything. My husband attempted the "sausages" and beans having discounted the revolting excuse for scrambled eggs, and he is not at all fussy but referred to the "sausages" as "pork-flavoured bread sticks" - appalling. The "yoghurt" looked so cheap - gloopy with thickeners and glucose syrup - inedible. I also believed I booked a room with a bath but only got a shower - albeit a very good one, but I don't like showers.
