Friendly staff, great location near to Liverpool without the hustle & bustle of the city. Superb on site restauarant - Marcos
Nothing to dislike
We know what we're getting and for us the location and local amenities are good.
We weren't offered an upgraded room as IHG reward members and we were at our previous Hikton stay. Also no writing pads or pens in the room which there are normally.
The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room.
The scrambled eggs on offer at breakfast left a lot to be desired, surely boiled & fried eggs could also be offered as an alternative.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived quite late and the restaurant was closed but we had a very nice bar meal.
There seemed to be only one iron available in the whole hotel and a member of staff did attempt to deliver it to us in the morning, but, unfortunately, after we had checked out.
the location was perfect for me. The room was comfortable and spacious.
The wifi was not good. The breakfast was unpleasant.
Very friendly staff especially the young man who booked us in,and recommended a restaurant and printed the menu off for us,as your restaurant was fully booked.
standards maintained and no pets.
Room was changed immediately upon request due to TV not working
I'm fed up with your computer system not recognising my IHG points card. I have had my registration several times in order to try to get on to the system but I still have nil points. My latest number didn't work here either.
would have liked a nice cooked breakfast for the price
When it opened it was a great little hotel. Clean, modern, standard Holiday Inn.
Disgraceful service. Staff wandering in messing with receptionist (apparently ok because the work there), complete lack of understanding that there has been a technical fail in the booking (computer says no) and an inability to see any kind of issue when the lock on the door doesnt work. Used to be a top little hotel but standards have slipped completely with the recruitment of people who just dont get it.
Convenient location, nice and quiet, clean and comfortable.
No bath. Breakfast was ok but poor quality fruit juice by machine.
Location very clean staff pleasant ground floor room could see car in park as my dog slept in there breakfast the positives far outweigh the negatives would book again
Need 2 chairs in room to relax Wifi sygnal in bedroom very intermittent my freind had to pay £10.00 a night for her dog in the room more than she is usually charged
This hotel gave the standard holiday Inn express offer.
The double bed was narrow and very bouncy. Any movement disturbed your sleeping partner. The breakfast was very basic.
Breakfast is lovely, Staff are brilliant, Papers available, Comfortable beds and furniture.
good mid-range hotel if you need to be in that area, also close to train station (5 minutes on foot)
Helpful friendly polite staff
Breakfast was very poor. Poor selection poor quantity Could do much better. Break fast was a complete let down
First room was cold
Lovely big shower, well made comfortable bed with clean crisp bed linen.
Everything - great restaurant next door to order food and will deliver straight to room door :-))
Great location for the purpose of our visit. Comfy room.
We thought that the breakfast could have had more variety, amazed there was no bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes. We travel a lot and have had better breakfasts in cheaper accommodation in Britain.
Location. Room was nice. Parking good.Breakfast was good if a bit repetitious.
WiFi was appalling and is pretty typical of all so called free WiFi. I really don't see why or how it can be advertised without breaching trades description except that is "free".
It was very well situated for public transport, saving a drive into Liverpool.
Difficult to locate in the dark as we assumed the lit hotel straight ahead was where we were going. Because of parked vans it was almost impossible to see the sign for the hotel.
Shower excellent, water hot ,shower cubicle big first class, room nice and warm.
Position of tv,need swivel bracket
