Clean and good location. Yes, if your room is at the front of the hotel there is a lot of noise at the weekend from guests late at night. |

Clean Insufficient information provided on various things. We were not advised of location of dining area nor when breakfast times. Reception/bar layout. We arrived, wet, windswept with bags and suits etc over arm and had to walk through bar area to where people were in party atire relaxing - we felt uncomfortable. We are not regular hotel guests. There was no information provided about how anything worked in the room - lights especially we found a problem - nobody/nothing explained about the card system. We could not find information about breakfast so we missed it. It took ages to find out about checking out time. We felt more information was required in general for those who are not regular hotel guests. |

like the views and atmosphere and the surrounding landscapes. Very well designed WC system Although well detailed, the "family" room (so called) occupied by my family was too compact to be called a family-room. The only thing 'family' about it is the provided extra bed-divan. It featured just a single room for a family of 2 adults and 2 children! |

It was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of free parking and the views across the race course were beautiful. Did not serve an evening meal. |

New, clean hotel - in good location for our requirements. Unfortunately, we had quite a troubled stay at the hotel in that someone tried to break into our room at 2.00am on Saturday morning - which was extremely frightening and although we contacted reception no-one followed this up with ourselves. Apparently it was a drunken resident couple who was trying to get in. Also, upon departure we paid our bill and upon checking it discovered that we had been charged £24.60 for drinks that we had not even had - the hotel have since refunded this amount to our bill. |

The location was quiet and the rooms were clean. Staff at breakfast were few and far between. No decaffinated coffee availble. Beds not particularly comfortable. |

Hotel did exactly what it needed to do. Area was good. There is a pub opposite the hotel that is on the racecourse. We ate there at night, was busy food varied and good for the price. Welcome after a long days travel. The price of drinks in the bar at the hoel was bad. A single shot Baileys was £5.80! |

Good, few frills, clean and excellent staff. The self service coffee machine in the Reception/Breakfast/Lounge area was truly horrible and is to be avoided, unless you like manufactured brown liquids. |

The staff in particular were very considerate. The door at the bottom of stairs at the end of the corridor we were in slammed unnecessarily loudly at all hours of the day and night. The airconditioning and heating were excellent but when turned right down at night the electric motor driving ther fan was very noisy and we had to turn it off. That allowed the room to get stuffy, and when the window was open vehicle noise intruded! However, we will come again. |

Perfect location for our requirements. Value for money. Almost new. Well designed. Not luxurious but fit for purpose and well thought out. Clean. Cheerful staff. Good parking. Good outlook from the front. Happily stay there again if similar circumstances arise. |

Very helpful, polite staff, esp. with my laptop! Very nice, modern room, esp. bathroom facilities. Great shower, gel & handwash dispensers. It wasn't clear to me when booking that restaurant not open on Fridays. I was really tired after a difficult journey and had to drive around Epsom at 9.15pm to find food. Also, could do with an egg boiling machine at breakfast. |

Stayed this hotel several times since its opening in 2008. Found it value for money as the rate covers breakfast. Location is convenient with ample cak parking spaces. They may start to look into maintenance routine as basin drainage was leaking in my recent stay Sept 09 |
