Location great for our needs
Arrived to the hotel to be greeted by a grumpy, unhelpful night shift receptionist. Check in took just underap an hour at 11.30pm with a sleeping 2 year old in our arms. When we were finally provided with a room key, the room was extremely cold, the bed uncomfortable with a bumpy, thin mattress and on check out the same gentlemen was on reception we expresses our disappointment to receive a grunt and shrug of the shoulders. Will definitely not be booking a holiday inn express chain hotel again in the future after this experience.
so so near tube staion , and bus stop , only take 15 / 20 min up to city centre. very nice staff, lovley shower and clean room. Very happy
Thought it quite pricey
Bed its kind a on soft side, but overall comfy.
Position near the tube and bus stop Large room and bathroom Room isolation from the external noise Large tv and good quality free wi-fi
Breakfast not very complete, missing some extra cake or bacon.. The columns in the aisles Too soft mattress for us
Tv decent size for room, the room itself is a good size and the bathrooms are nice
There was no complimentary water which is needed and no free biscuits with the coffee and tea. Also I have stayed in a few rooms and the beds had dips in the middle and the pillows are too flat
Simple and straightforward value for money for a London Hotel. Parking a big plus.
Got a very warm welcome when we arrived after a horribly delayed flight. Breakfast was more than sufficient and ample. Wifi was FREE! For what we paid it was a fantastic stay and we will return. Right in front of train station
Grout in shower needs replacing but other than that it was lovely and clean
Location, room & shower
Doesn't look a great hotel from the outside, but that changes when you get in.
The hotel is right next to Colliers Wood Underground station, which is a 50 minute ride to London Bridge. Rooms have sofas, and a nice big TV. Bathroom and bed was of a decent size. Water pressure and overall temperature was comfortable . staff very friendly and helpful.
Bathroom ceiling had black mold growing from it near the shower (room 108). After multiple housekeeping cleans, the dark mold was still there. Hotel room service options very very limited (pizza or panini). Breakfast was fulfilling but never varied. Hotel next to a emergency station so ambulance and police sirens can be heard every 30 minutes, but that's good as well, in case of an emergency. A bit hectic in the morning to get a table for breakfast.
very clean hotel. staff very pleasant. easy WIFI I will use the hotel again - but will bring my own pillow!
desperately poor pillows! Felt as if they were made of folded newspapers. They ensured a very poor nights sleep.
It would be nice if you told us about the £15 parking when we booked hotel not when we arrive and you only have three spaces that fit our van size could have been a big problem if we could have not parked
Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful cooked breakfast, affordable, quiet, able to get good sleep at night before lengthy travel journey
close to tube clean, comfortable hotel 24 hour bar great pub next door two fabulous restaurants close by
at first got given a room with a connecting door, which meant i could clearly hear tv and conversations in next door room, which was a hassle to change.
The hotel was very good for cleanliness and comfort and the staff very helpful and friendly. Very good value for money.
The traffic noise in our room at the front of the hotel through the night was a bit of a nuisance although once asleep did not disturb us and slightly disappointed that there was only sausage and scrambled egg for a cooked breakfast none of which I eat. Although there was plenty of other choices in other sections.
Friendly staff. Clean.
Bed was rather soft and uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok but not much choice of hot food.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel/bedroom was very comfortable and clean.
The breakfast was adequate but I would have liked to have had a choice of bacon instead of sausages.
Room was freezing cold. No decent food available at the Hotel.
We werent happy with our initial room so as soon as we told reception they were happy to change us.
When we went down for breakfast at 9 it was chaos. There was no clean cutlery, people checking in were mixing with people eating breakfast, and as they were waiting to check in they were going over and helping themselves to food.children were running riot as people were walking back with hot drinks.i think it should be seperated off more. I understand it is a busy time if year but it was chaos and in the end after waiting 15 minutes for clean knives and forks gave up and left.
Location is very good if you are going to watch the tennis. Nice restaurants and shopping.
A long way out of central London. But a good bus service or tube.
Clean characterless bedroom but that was what we expected. Everything acceptable, nothing delightful. I've lived in the area for 30+ years and feel some of the descriptions of location take spin to a new level.
Was it built as a multi storey car park? Why the pillars in the middle of the bedroom corridors? Overpriced car park - we parked elsewhere.
