as above but location and modern facilities with great. We would stay again should our daughter attend Manchester Met. Thank you
The location and the breakfast. The politeness of Daniel the Manager.
The room too dim. The bathroom too dark to put makeup on. No air con despite reporting it was faulty. The abruptness of the lady on reception on our arrival.
The staff were helpful and friendly and the location was ideal for walking into city centre as well as being close to the train station and the location of my interview
However the room felt unclean with stains on the carpet, very noticeable damage all the way along the walls and an extractor fan that made noises I have never heard an extractor fan make
Location and set up of the rooom
Loud music from nearby buildings to early hours of the morning, affected the quality of sleep.
Great location. Decent, no nonsense breakfast included. Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower.
Grubby looking carpets.
Just what i expected
Nice staff and confortable room. Good wifi connection.
No fridge in the room
Thought staff were helpful, and rooms were lovely
The breakfast didn't have a lot of choice
Hotel took £25 off a £120 bill. For a one night stay, in a small, smokey, 'stag-do', 'one-night-stand' type of hotel, its probably the best they could offer.
The room stenched of cigarette smoke. Engrained in the fabric. As non-smokers, this equals a distracting and uncomfortable stay. Avoid, unless you want somewhere you can treat badly without any guilt. One for you stag goers, pissed city tourists.
Location good for University Breakfast OK but a bit limited in choice. Handy car parking across road in Total Parking and reasonable cost when booked on line
Third person in sofa bed in room meant very little space to move. Sofa bed was very poor comfort and glad my 17 year old daughter only in it for 1 night while there
Excellent location close to the train station and bus routes. Very clean with friendly staff. Quality beds and linen - good night's sleep.
Limited number of tables for breakfast can cause queues - work has commenced on an extension to the breakfast area.
The bed was very comfy and choice of pillows great. The shower was roomy and the Dove shower gel very nice. We would Definitly stay again.
Check out was 11am but we were woken at 09:15 by the hotel cleaners, not sure If this was deliberate. Next time we shall use the do not disturb sign.
Room was very clean and had a comfortable bed.
Room was on the corner which reduced space, could have done with an arm chair and no bath.
Location , Modern , Cleanliness , Free Breakfast .
Location was better than anticipated with easy walking distance to everywhere we wanted and needed to go. Superb for Oxford Rd train station. Staff were unflinchingly helpful. Breakfast was average but most welcome as I thought we booked board only so a real bonus.
Repetitive musical scales from the air conditioning in our first room drove me bonkers and we had to be moved. Was ok in second room offered.
Amazing shower & bathroom Everything being very up-to-date Wi-Fi Free breakfast Very clean Very friendly Excellent location
My room was next to the lift
I was on the 9th floor and I could still hear the music from the nightclub nexk door. Two very poor nights sleep. Unlikely that I will stop here again.
The room spotless comfortable bed nice bathroom with toiletries tea and coffee. Location for the theatre access to Oxford road station, suited use very nicely.
Breakfast was not the best, scrambled egg very salty, beans and sausage, only warm not hot, even though there was a quick turn over, would of liked some bacon but cereal, fruit yoghurt, warm bread and croissants were ok.
Location in terms of distance from city centre. Room and Bathroom is nice staff are helpful
Loud musice from clubs outside but not hotels fault. "Power Shower" wasn't so. Ive seen more pressure come from my boss at work. Air-Con noisy in room from time to time which ends up wakening you through the night
Helpful staff. Fantastic location. Clean and fresh rooms.
Soggy breakfast croissants and not particularly good breakfast. I know they make a thing of it being 'free' but I would like more choice.
Nice place. Nice bathroom. Totally relaxed about bringing in food - they provide plates etc so no trying to eat curry in a cup with a tea spoon.
As per the notice in the lift...breakfast very busy from 9am.
Location is amazing. Hotel was clean and breakfast was free. Would defo stay again.
No parking. Did find out could park opposite but at a cost.
The bed was so comfortable and everything was really clean.
Maybe there could have been more choice at breakfast.
The room was excellent considering the amount we paid and the receptionist on arrival was excellent to
The breakfast was stone cold ie beans, sausage. It was a birthday break and she took payment on my card on arrival when my partner was paying cash she never asked. I also had a towel with a whole in it to.
