Holiday Inn Express Tamworth    

The Staff were very pleasant and helpfull, a shame about the night noise.Parking was good for £1 overnight. Breakfast was ok except for the toasting machine which I had to use three times to brown my toast. Little things which should be sorted by a Manager ???

Being on the first floor in room 106 above reception, the noise from guest coming and going until the early hours, about 3am was unbelievable.It was the worst nights sleep I had in a long time with taxis slamming doors and guest returning with no thoughts for fellow guests.Not a place to return to in a hurry!!! Sorry!!! Also the beds are no match against Premier Inns.

Staff were bit miserable and not particularly welcoming. Was allocated a room that had not yet been cleaned. Had to drag bags bk to reception to be directed to different room. More milk pods in the room please.

Rooms spotless and although basic has everything you need. Bathrooms very nice, clean, modern and lovely shower. Breakfast was plentiful, relaxed and good quality food. Staff really helpful and friendly - all in all couldn't fault it !

We both liked the fact the the hotel was on top of the venue of the wedding we went to at tamworth castle, the hotel was very modern and clean the staff were very friendly and helpful ..we would stay again....

There was only one thing..THE Bed..... Very uncomfortable..one side of mattress seemed higher than the other ,and the mattress almost seemed that it was filled with water as when one of use moved it seemed like the whole mattress moved..and there was another which was I suppose out of your control our neighbours kept slamming thier door to the early hours..

Close to the Snowdome. Quiet and clean. Microwave to heat up your own food. Powerful shower Wide range of TV channels Firm and soft pillows.

The mattress was quite thin and I didn't have the comfiest nights sleep.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. They are able to give you menus for takeaways and give you plates etc for them. The location is ideal for Drayton Manor and the Snowdome also for the shops and a short walk to Tamworth its self. The breakfast in with the price is fab and if you sign up to priority rewards you get fab deals! The power shower is fantastic!

The sofa bed was rather uncomfortable to sleep on other than that would recommend it to others.

It was clean and the room was a good size.

It was cold in the room, air conditioning was way too loud and the temperature didn't go higher than 20 degrees, which is not much when one travel with baby. And it took ages to warm even half a degree higher...

Everything. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very polite. Also a very nice breakfast.

There was nothing i didnt like.

Have to say I loved this holiday the staff were brilliant couldn't be more helpful rooms were perfect loads of room. Loads of stuff to do near the hotel breakfast in the morning was perfect.

The only thing was the automatic doors onto the road and with a small crazy 3 year u want to be careful he ran out and I ran after him if there has been a car coming up wouldn't of been a good thing.

The hotel is a new build and fitted with all new modern fixtures and fittings Very nice stay We will stay again and highly recommend this hotel.

Didn't like the animals in hotel, I've never seen or heard of this, I didn't know this hotel was a animal friendly hotel.

The decor in the room was good.

Paying for parking was not what I would expect when I am already paying to stay in a hotel. The room was very dull in the morning despite all lights being on and curtains open as there was no lights in the centre of the room, only a few downlighters at the bedside. The boy who attended to our book in didnt seem to notice I was even there, he focussed very clearly on my girlfriend instead of us both as a "couple". The same lad served me two glasses of wine which cost £11. For this price I would have liked a smile and a bit of customer service atleast. Oh and the pillows were very hard and the duvet was wafer thin which did not provide great comfort.

Took ages to get served in the bar at night as the barman was busy on reception we gave up waiting and although room looked spotless we found two dirty glasses under the bed

I was pleased wirh the standard of room good value for money.

We ordered a family room and had a double bed which was comfy but the sofabed which my husband and I ended up sleeping in was horrendous! Very uncomfortable!
