Convenient location, free parking, good facilities and accomodation, reasonable tariff

Problem using the door key(card) - not clear how it should be used. Still no bacon offered at breakfast - stodgy sausages!

Friendly check-in. Nice room with good amenities.

No hot chocolate sachet with the kettle, only tea and coffee.

Rooms adequate very close to wandsworth mainline station connecting into waterloo station 10 minutes. Spacious car park at reasonable cost £12 per night.

Chaotic breakfast on first morning - everyone arrived at 0900 hrs staff couldn't cope- tea machine empty - tables dirty and uncleared

I thought the reception were very friendly and accommodating. The room was nice very spacious and the location was perfect for us. Will definitely choose this hotel again.

Booked mainly based upon location as near to an event I was attending on the Saturday evening, and because I would be guaranteed on a certain standard of accomodation having stayed at Holiday inn Express sites previously.

I could better service and stay at Travel Lodge accross the road for less than half the price. This is simply extortion.

In the room only two packs of sugar and milk are left. How tight can you get. The orange juice in breakfast was so diluted it made me feeel sick. No direct phone line to reception, or they didnt answer. Cutting corners at a very high price is the hallmark of this Holiday Inn Express. Extortion because of location. I wud nevr stay if it wasnt for convenience.

I was very pleasantly suprised at the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, the location and overall experience of staying at this branch of holiday inn express. I havent stayed in one for some time as felt the chain had gone downhill. This reversed my opinion. The location was excellent, central yet feeling more suburban. The convenient and safe car park was a great added bonus. Although not cheap, by London standards it was excellent value.

As i was at a business event between 5.30 and 9.30 i would have like the option of some hot food upon returning to the hotel. (Although there is a M&S and McDonalds nearby for a female traveller, neither were ideal). The in room tea facilities were mean with only one tea bag and milk (two would have been better as it is nice to have a drink on arrival and again in the morning). Also a biscuit. Toiletries are very utilitarian but i suppose it is a small price to pay for a more reasonable hote.

Very good location for visiting people South of the river. We have stayed before - the breakfast has improved and is now quite good. (We ate in the evening at The Ship which is easy walking distance, has a lively atmosphere and very good food.)

Through booking.com, several days in advance, we had booked a double bedded room with sofa bed, but on arrival were allocated a smaller twin bedded room with no sofa. When we checked in we were told all double rooms had been allocated. We made it quite clear that this was unsatisfactory and were -eventually - given a £20 discount. What is the point of being given the choice of different rooms on the internet site if the hotel can then ignore what has been booked? If we had not made a fuss there would certianly have been no discount.
