Location easy to find
1Limited parking facilities despite having paid for a slot in the underground car park on returning late in the evening it was full and I was forced to park in a side road 2 Inconsiderate people / staff? who congregated outside the entrance late in the night ( I was in the room above the entrance) who spoke and generally made an unacceptable amount of noise that woke me several times during the night The night staff need to stop this
Is in easy walk of town centre 10 - 15 mins
Having to pay for parking. Would have liked some bacon at breakfast
Clean and comfortable Able to park on site
- location - staff is very helpfull
- the walls are so thin you can hear the neighbor's movement
STAFF WERE PARTICULARLY HELPFUL. THE HOTEL WAS SMART AND THE ROOM VERY COMFORTABLE. GOOD CHOICE OF BREAKFAST FOODS.
My likes are the staff were very friendly and helpful the rooms were clean and comfortable the food was good
my dislike were that holiday inn hotels don't seem to cater for childrens meals
Liked everything, so close to all in Windsor, easy to find
The cleanses, and the friendly staff
The hotel is located close enough to the main sights, yet far enough away to be out of the thick of the tourists etc!
When LHR changed to landing from the West, the flight path of descending aircraft is right above the hotel and the double-glazing (if there is any) was not sufficient to reduce the volume very much.
Modern facilities. Clean room and large single beds Excellent large shower Helpful and friendly Reception staff
Poor room insulation. Noise from adjacent room keeping us awake all night
Easy access to Windsor
Disappointed about breakfast. No full English!
the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful
The breakfast was awful
location, safe parking, friendly staff, clean and comfortable, very spacious bathroom.
creaking floors above us.
The hotel is centrally located to all Places of Interest and commercial zones and sited in quiet residential neighbourhood. Facilities in room were readily available for light snacks and drinks. In general the room was comfortable after a long day of sightseeing.
Being a hotel chain, the room ambience is fairly stark and furnishings are the basic necessities. Probably due to Windsor's prominence as a tourist town the hotel room rate is on a fairly higher side.
Staff professional, location
Location - very easy to get into town and easy access to the M4, secure parking, reasonable breakfast - good value for money
Having to use the lifts - couldn't find the stairs!
Location for the purpose of my visit
Later than anticipated booking in due to room unready. poor quality breakfast Most (not quite all) staff need to finish their training if they have had any at all it did make us wonder at times. Would just get a 2* rating
The whole experience.
good secure car park
tinned fruit for breakfast,no fried eggs or bacon. very basic.
Great hotel, good location 10 minutes walk into town. Good underground parking and quick and friendly service at reception.
Our room was opposite the lift, it was a bit noisy, especially in the morning.
room was not serviced, beds not made etc.
Lovely town, convenient location The staff is good
1) We ordered the room with double bed and one single bed. But there was only one sofa, nothing on the sofa, no pillow, no bedsheet, no quilt. I asked for, then only gave me the pillow and bedsheet... 2) The parking area is underground. When you drive in, you should push the button at the entrance overground to ask for opening the railing. It's not obvious. So I drove down, but couldn't find the button. Then I wanted to drive back to the ground, but due to the steep gradient I broke the railing. I'm lucky that I bought the full insurance. Hope to improve something.
They messed up our booking and refused to provide the family room that was booked. Rude incompetent staff kept us sitting in reception for 2houra n only interacted with us to say we were at fault (which we were not!) and offered no solution. Not a glass of water or cup if tea offered. Manager was in the building but never once came out to acknowledge us until after 1.5hrs of waiting we requested to see him-was not worth the wait! Rude, dismissive and incompetent. Would never recommend staying there. Booking.com were excellent however-could not rate them better as they resolved them issue even thought holiday inn were at fault. We had to find and book an alternative hotel-after 2hourz of waiting!!!
The room was modern and comfortable with enough room for the three of us! The room was very clean and I particularly liked the size of the shower it was huge and very powerful for a hotel shower!! The staff were very helpful and friendly and we felt very welcomed! The breakfast was also really nice!
The price of parking at the hotel is very expensive!! One night cost is £10 which we couldn't believe!
