well to be honest the whole thing was good,the staff good the venue good the breakfast was good the coffee again good...except when i booked i stated that i needed a bath as i am disabled and cannot use a shower this was written on the booking form.....alas your hotel i find out at the booking desk it doesnt have a bath in the place!! i was tired to tired to look else where so i had to book in. which made the whole stay a littlr tarnished.....c,barry booking.com wrote: reservation at Holiday Inn Express Dear chris barry Thank you for your recent booking at Holiday Inn Express through Booking.com. The professionalism of the staff was first rate. The hotel had all the facilities I needed during my stay. Also, breakfast started at a nice early time which was handy. The room wasn't in good but not great condition. There were marks on the walls and stains on the carpet. Also, everything in the room seemed to be covered in small fibres. The double-glazing could do with upgrading to triple as it doesn't block out the very busy road outside. |

receptionist was very polite and personable with a sense of humour, unlike the last time we stayed hate the air con in these type of hotels and the noise they make at night, so switch it off and get hot!! |

This was undoubtedly the best value hotel I have stayed in recently. The staff were really helpful and the room was spacious and very clean. I would not hestitate to both recommend it to friends and to come again. It was better than some 3 star hotels I have been to |

The check in/out process was quick and easy, as was the booking process on line. The room comfort, well priced and location was convenient for a night out in town. The breakfast on Sunday morning (buffet only avalible) was shockingly bad, we left the hotel to find an alternative but discovered nowhere in walking distance was open until 10am. We had to drive back into town where we found 2 hotels/B&B that were serving breakfast pre 10am. It would be better if there was an option to buy a proper breakfast than have a sub standard breakfast thrown together for free. I use the Bordeaux hi Express monthly for business and their uk breakfast despite being a smaller hotel and located in France is 100% better which demonstrates it can be done. |

Very comfortable and clean, staff very friendly and helpfull, very good shower, clean towels changed daily, Good sized room, Drinks from machines were very nice ie: coffee, drinking choc. At breakfast the amount of food and plates were not kept very well replenished, Air conditioning a bit noisy. |

The hotel is new and modern, simple designs. We waited for a while before anyone showed up at the reception. Strange thing. The breakfast is continental, so it means not much to choose from. |

Booking .com very good rate for excellent convemient hotel It is new of course and I wonder how good it will remain as it gets older but for now, absolutely no complaints whatever. Very close to excellent Toby Inn for food and New York Italinan eatery for competition |
