I was very dissapointed as I booked my holiday through yourselves and had opted for a double room, only to be told that I did not specify what type of room and we found a twin room awaiting us. When we complained that this is not what we booked, we were treated like people who booked through a non-existance site cause they said to me that because I had used booking.com, they did not get the information, but just that I was allergic to dust. I did not know that when one goes on a site and choose a double room for 2, you also have to ask for a double bed, is that not just obvious, why ask then wether someone wants a double, twin or other rooms. I am extremely dissapointed cause it ruined my last night with my partner before I was to fly out.

High level of service. Dealt with problems calmly and efficiently with the minimum of fuss. Nice gesture of free drinks vouchers (we were in Gatwick overnight on our way to our honeymoon destination. Uniformity of layout and decor. The feeling that you could br anywhere in the world.

Location and efficient and friendly staff at check in and breakfast. Our bed in room 230 was a double that had been over-used and was sagging badly and "bounced" at every minor turn or movement. It was not fit for purpose. We slept badly unfortunatley as a result. We have not had this problem when staing at Holiday Inn before. We would rather have a good bed than a large flat screen tv I'm afraid

Our room was totally comfortable, no excess and nothing missing. Good bed and linens. If you want a cup of brewed coffee you pay 16 pounds for a full breakfast buffet.

Location and Gatwick shuttle bus. Room service took too long to come although was offered free soft drink as compensation. The cost of room service at £3.00 is too high, particularly when we only ordered a sandwich which cost £6 something.

Very pleasant, good food, staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and courteous, would not hesitate to call again. The bed quilt was too small once in the need but the only trivial point I could think of.

My room was quite and comfortable, so I was able to have a good rest before next day journey to may holiday destination. Hotel is situated close to the airport, so I didn't have to get up too early. Bus connection to the airport was frequent and punctual.

Friendly, efficient staff. Sorted a minor booking error quickly and without any fuss. It was extremely handy as I needed to meet my husband coming on a very late/early flight from abroad. Nothing, it was excellent!

Really appreciated the early check-in at 9am! Rooms spacious and clean. Charging own hotel guests 10.- pounds for 24hrs parking. Wifi not free. Shuttle service to airport: 3.-pounds per person Breakfast overpriced: 11.- pounds per person

I only stayed for a night, leaving early for a flight. However, even with my short stay, I was impressed with the polite and friendly staff, the delightfully comfortable bed, and the delicious food. I couldn't get the water in the shower to get warm or hot. It was always cold.

The reception was very helpful, I was travelling through overnight waiting for another flight back home the next day and had gotten a Taxi from Gatwick this cost 10 pounds and the reception was annoyed they had charged me this and explained that they would give me a ticket for the bus the next day picking up from the hotel door for 3 pounds, they called they Taxi company and cancelled my next day booking for me and even looked up my flight to let me know where to be and what time the following day. Very helpful and I would use this hotel again. Room service got my order a little wrong but were very apoligetic and had the missing items back in the room in less than 10 minutes. All the staff were very nice, the bar manager came over to see how my stay was going and if she if everything was okay with the service. I really have nothing bad to say about my whole experience even though it was only an overnight stay they made you very welcome.
