we always stay at Holiday Inn Gloucester as they are clean polite and handy for my sons house he is a slavationarmy officer stationed in Gloucester and this is the only way we can see our family. Our next visit will probably be December January when it is my son an grand daughters birthdays. This occassion was our youngest grand daughters christening. everyone is so helpful home from home.

Cost of wifi in rooms - £16 for an hour!

the price of the room was excellent,and all aspects of the hotel were immaculate.the use of the facilities was superb.

the price of the breakfast was too high,along with the price of a glass of wine!

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. After booking.com had made an error with the booking, we paid and booked for a double deluxe room and on arrival was told that booking.com had reserved a standard double room. The staff at the Holiday Inn were very sorry and did everything to try and resolve the issue. The food was stunning, whoever their chefs are they need to keep hold of them. Standard rooms are quite small but clean. Rooms cleaned daily.

Very nice hotel, enjoyed spa, big room, all clean, stuff is very friendly. We were very surprised that for the price we paid (107 gbp for 3 nights) we've got such a nice hotel.

For some reason hotel has no lift and can not be used by disable people.

we come for a family party and had a great time every thing was done just how we asked the staff are very nice and went out of there way to help us, in all we had a great stay

It was relaxing and the staff were friendly. The hotel is reasonably located in relation to Gloucester City Centre. It took a number of staff to help us find a bus route into town as we didn't want to drive in on rugby match day. It isn't far to the bus stop but it isn't easy to find without directions.

The fact there is a charge for wifi and how much the charge is. I would have expectedit ti be free for guests included in the room price.

nice clean place to stop, for the night.

the staff were excellent and extremely helpfull, making our stay more personal and friendly than expected. The discounts offered on food and drink certainly made the stay more relaxing as travelling with an 11 year old and 2 x 79 year olds we both ate and drank in the hotel on both evenings thus cutting down on the stress of finding places to eat and drink which were suitable to all.

Location was okay

Internet access was charged and it was incredibly expensive. No lift for luggage.

Close to City centre (2 miles). Friendly staff, good food, excelent leisure centre.Plenty of parking,great value for money. We got a two night stay special offer which was excelent value.

What not to like ?

Good service, good facilites, efficient staff and perfect for what we needed.

Love room, friendly staff great bar showing the footy with some yummy tapas.

We were really looking forward to using the spa and relaxing for the evening but the day before our stay we were told the spa was not open that weekend. Almost ruined our stay.
