Staff were excellent bar staff to front of house - we knocked lampshade onto floor by accident - admitted to it and they were very understanding.

Wifi MUST be free - ridiculously expensive - would put me off from returning.

The atmosphere was very relaxing...and the bed very comfortable.

I thought the location was excellent as my daughter was auditioning in Surrey university. It's proximity to the train station and town was great. The staff were extremely helpful and dinner was lovely.

Ideal for our trip. The staff polite a friendly and very accomodating.

The price deal of £39 each for three double rooms. Attentive staff, fabulous breakfast, clean quiet rooms - large enough to swing a cat.

The standard room price would have put us off.

Cleaners were rude. Stayed for Friday and Saturday on morning of Saturday left at 10.30 came back at 2.30 and found room not cleaned. We had two hours before going out again for our anniversary and cleaners knocked on door twice too ask if they could clean and were told no sorry. They were quite rude,reception told us they worked till 8 but when we got back it still hadn't been cleaned. Would not recommend because of this as we stay in lots of hotels and have never not had room cleaned.

Room with an adjoining door. Mattresses too hard, decor of room a little tired and not a spotless bathroom. I feel that as we paid the least amount for the room, we were given one of their worst rooms.

Every thing was great. I've stayed here a few times now. Staff are very friendly, rooms are clean, lounge/bar area is chilled. I've had hot 'bites' at the bar with a friend, which were nice so no issues on the food front. This time I used the gym, pool & jacuzzi which were also very nice.

The cost of wireless Internet I thought was too pricey. I'd use it if the cost of 24 hour Internet access was a lot cheaper. I wonder what the uptake is on wireless internet in this hotel (for non business guests). I used 3g from my phone to access internet on my Ipad (tethering) so no biggy.

General comfort and friendliness of staff. Bar snack good, though service slow. Room service meal good. Check out not till 12.00 noon

No lift - I have difficulty in walking The enforcement of a £10 charge for breakfast. We only required fruit and yoghurt. Very expensive. The coffee was very bitter. I would suggest Taylor's of Harrogate and a choice of blend.

£15 for breakfast!!!!! Yes, I knew when I made the reservation that breakfast wasn't included in the room price - but £15!!!! And no £5/£7.50 £10 alternatives available. This info wasn't in our room, so I was disappointed when I found out at the breakfast area at 8.15am. My wife & I left the hotel to seek nourishment else- where - far from ideal on a snowy morning! Any chance of a response please?

Rooms were very clean and the bed was very large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Water in shower was warm and the shower head was powerful. A nice relaxing atmosphere around the hotel

Comfort, especially the beds and bathroom, staff were cheerful and very helpful, food good although we did not wish to pay the £14.95 for breakfast finding this too expensive for this meal.

Wedding was being held in the hotel when we were there which took over the whole downstairs area making us feel pushed to the side re ambience, tranquility etc.

Hard, uncomfortable beds! One rather annoying thing - although we were asked to re-use towels where possible and only to leave towels which needed changing on the floor, all our towels were changed each day regardless. Such a waste of money...
