Score from 83 reviews Fabulous
Nice room, comfortable bed, TV, tea & coffee facilities.
No free WiFi
Waiting at reception for ages to get key to room working. Had to go looking in kitchens for someone! Poor reception service.
service was great
Very dated rooms. This hotel is desperately in need of major refurbishment.
Good parking, useful location rooms a very good size and comfortable bed
rooms perhaps a little tired particularly the bathroom which did smell a little bit of stale water
Facilities and breakfast was good so much choice .
The bed was comfortable and the location was good, staff were very nice and efficient,
The room needs updating and it had a horrible stale musty smell like stale cigarettes, not sure if it was a smoking room but it was horrible and ruined my stay, the restaurant is a bit cold and sterile , could do with lightning up a bit ,
Staff very nice, room was nice
Toilet was not working , no maintenance people. Toilet was seen to by bar man
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Good large rooms with comfortable bed
We stayed at the Holiday Inn at my Son and daughter in Laws Wedding which was held in the Holiday Inn. The Wedding was perfect. The food was fantastic. All the staff were very helpful and did everything they could for us. Would recommend to anyone.
There was nothing to dislike
Room and hotel very clean, staff extremely helpful, great facilities with pool n gym, bar food reasonably priced and free wifi
Location to race course. Comfy bed. .
A bit dated...in need of a good make over...paintwork shabby. Breakfast expensive for 3* hotel.
poor quality of main course(beef).chocolate(mars bar)only one for two people. only one bath robe and no slippers
Every thing was A1 perfect.
Nothing to dislike.
Far too expensive for drink and food
Overpriced, overcooked, underheated breakfast buffet not worth £11 each. That is £44 for a family of 4 and about £20 too much! I needed some help during the night as a diabetic and despite going to Reception there were no staff available to help or any way of contacting them. And each time I use this hotel, it takes 10 mins to book in despite pre-booking and pre-paying as the staff are always trying to have me sign-up to a new member scheme or to add extras on to my stay.
Staff, cleanliness, leisure facilities and value for money.
The pool being used for childrens swimming lessons on Saturday made it very busy and not as enjoyable as the Friday night when it was quite. The hot tub was cold on Friday and out of order on Saturday.
Unfortunate attitude of reception staff. Too busy dealing with other things/people to focus.
Location and cost.
The freezing air conditioning in the foyer and bar areas made it too cool to sit and relaxed.
Pre booking options not 100% clear. Administration at registration poor and not accurate.
The facilities offered and the staff were helpful
We only stayed at the hotel to visit my mother of 97yrs old, and spent very little time in the hotel. I would stay there again some time in the future.
I thought the drinks very expensive and disappointed in the food options, small menu. It is obvious the hotel is set up for business persons, with an expense allowance.
good leisure facilities. excellent breakfast good size room nice grounds
Comfortable and clean, staff were very nice set in nice surroundings, good breakfast
