We only stayed at the hotel to visit my mother of 97yrs old, and spent very little time in the hotel. I would stay there again some time in the future.
I thought the drinks very expensive and disappointed in the food options, small menu. It is obvious the hotel is set up for business persons, with an expense allowance.
good leisure facilities. excellent breakfast good size room nice grounds
Comfortable and clean, staff were very nice set in nice surroundings, good breakfast
All the staff were very helpful , accomadating and friendly
It was all good
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Great base for area.
Close to the motorway without being noisy; decent sized room with working A/C; bathroom clean and functional; coffee making facilities
No in-room fridge; some noise from other guests at night
Excellent room. Enjoyed pool and sauna although both a little jaded.
The bar prices are exorbitant. Totally unnecessary.
The room, Breakfast ,Health club Location Staff very good
The way that staff went out of their way to accommodate me (as a different kind of guest - on cycle). Everything about my short stopover was splendid - thank you very much David Hughes
Location was great. Nice big room with everything you needed. Good leisure facilities. Helpful staff when it came to the WiFi and how to get it for free.
Nice and clean.
The noise from the wedding kept us up until very late. Then the noise from the hen night started and kept us up until 2:30am. 2 members of our group got over-charged and they blamed it on Booking.Com
large room, clean, tidy.excellent double bed. excellent breakfast, plenty of choice.
Staff were very nice especially Barbara on reception. A little out of the way for non driver as you depend on taxi's. Spotlessly clean.
Jacuzzi needs good clean.
Very friendly staff. Great location. Nice quiet night before ironman.
Clean and well maintained. Big car park. Staff were nice. Room was nice. Bed was comfy.
The cleaning staff make a racket outside your door after 8am. I'd had a busy day the day previous, I wanted a lie in, the do not disturb label said so.
Helpful friendly staff & good standard of cleanliness
Bathroom door didn't shower mat & bathroom lighting wasn't sufficient.
Breakfast Leisure facilities
Room not very clean. Poor service at bar area. Very noisy. Difficulty sleeping.
The location is excellent for the race course, 5-10 minute walk and just off the motorway. Clean rooms, the bathroom could do with updating but well kept and the bed was comfortable
The price of breakfast No free wifi They offered a shuttle service to the race course then informed me it was £2 each The room was on the 3rd floor (306) overlooking the function room which we weren't aware of until we went to bed which was too late to ask for a move and the party was in full flow till the early hours of the morning keeping us awake
Good location for races and Leigh sports village. Good surroundings pleasent staff
The price Room service
Got a disabled room
Clean and spacious room, quiet. Pool and gym facilities were good.
The hotel grounds were manicured perfectly. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Bit of confusion with room, booked a double bed through booking.com but were actually allocated twin beds, went back to reception but they were apologetic saying that unfortunately the booking came through as twin beds. The lovely receptionist found us another room with double bed, which I'm glad she did as it was on 4th floor and lovely . The room was spacious, clean, lovely view out of window across fields. So quiet. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Blackout curtains. It had everything you could want for. We both loved it and are definitely going to book again, we were sad to leave. The staff were friendly and polite and went out of the way to make our stay a happy one.
Only criticism was opening door to find twin beds but that was soon rectified, there was nothing we didn't like about this hotel....
