Good value for money.didnt use the spa facilities but think it's brilliant they had them on offer.had room service and the food was gorgeous and the staff were friendly.lovely gesture of love heart sweets on the pillow - was nice to arrive to. complimentary toiletries :-)
Location was awful to get to when travelling by foot.its on a very big busy island with not many foot paths.pillows on the bed were really lumpy - not comfortable.there were a few long girls hairs in the bathroom when we arrived!could have done with something to keep the puddings warm that we ordered from room service (3 courses) only 1 sachet of hot chocolate
friendly staff, nice enough room
noisy air conditioning, expensive restaurant.
All the facilities were excellent, everything was clean an tidy, and the air conditioning was very responsive (when we arrived, it had been set to 32c, but the room very quickly cooled down when we set it to a lower temperature).
The room was quite pricy, but we booked it at fairly short notice so this is probably our fault.
Location, quality of the room.
Availability and location of the parking if you travel with a car
Hotel is old, it definitely needs renovation. Cracks on the walls and old furniture. Towels in my room had some dirty spots. Breakfast was poor. We also had lunch at the hotel and it was a big disappointment. No flavor in food. I do not recommend. You can find much better options in the same region, in smaller towns around Leicester.
The check-in was quick and straight forwards. Very nice and clean swimming pool, sauna and steam room, although changing room and showers needed serious attention. Breakfast was good and staff was very helpful.
Rooms require updating. Definitely not typical 4 star hotel, 3 star max. These days £72 for a double room can get better value for money.
Excellent & attentive service throughout our evening from " Mikyler" .
We were able to book two adjoining rooms which was great so we could go between the two rooms with ease.
The telephone didn't work so we had to go to reception to order room service
Staff are very helpful and skilled, location is very good,I really enjoyed my stay
Hotel was beautiful
I didn't like the location, I walked from the city centre and I have never been to the hotel or st Nicolas circle took me a very long time to find my way into the building.
location close to shopping & restaurants. Breakfast & evening meal food quality reasonable. would expect better for the price.
Beds are not as comfy as Premier Inn. Also heater in room is very noisy so had to turn it off at night and room got quite cold. Can hear some traffic noise at night.
Nice breakfast and bar area.
Room was dark, a bit cold and basically a white box! Everything was ok but nothing special.
Room is not small. Bed is good.
A little bit hot during January with duvet.
Great staff with great spacious room. Booked a normal room and was given a upgrade because of our dogs. Great room service menu.
Nearness to bus station and centre
No choice of teas also no biscuits
Location space bathroom
Nothing we didn't like
Breakfast didn't taste very fresh seemed to have been sitting around for a while (we ate at 9.30)
extra pillows in the room would have been nice
Poor bed with very little support. Bowed in the middle!
Facilities are good standard, close to centre, room size good and clean. Staff helpful but not very clear with help to setup wifi etc.
10 for one day parking. Extra for wifi. Christmas parties dominated common areas. And reduced staff response during peak periods
Staff very helpful, hotel very clean
Bar not very well stocked. Tia Maria is on the printed Drinks menu but wasn't in the bar for at least 2 weeks. Bar is directly by the rotating entrance doors, hence very draughty.
As always the breakfast was good.
One member of staff chased my wife into lift, for an 'unpaid' bar bill, we had paid cash to another member of staff. We did complain and was promised a call from the manager, this has not happened. Poor. We are regular guests, but not any more, and it looks like Mark and his staff are not interested.
Front office staff not very customer oriented
