Food and drink were excellent, parking prices very good.
Very small room size, uncomfortable bed.
We were a little disappointed that on both mornings we had breakfast some of the items such as fried eggs and baked beans were slow to be put out on counter.
A queue at the check out was quickly resolved by putting extra counter staff
Room windows can not be opened. Airco is OK, but can not replace fresh air
Great location Great breakfast Great hotel
Lifts are a pain, not reliably working
Clean and comfortable. Good value for money (only when the room r on offer) as compared to the hotels and apartments.
Maybe the room is on a promotional rate, some amenities must be requested based on want such shower cap, cotton wool, toothbrush.
Car park close by.
Room very small and very basic. Cheap pillows and duvet. Have stayed in better Premier Inns. Hotel Russell round the corner has much superior rooms for same price paid here. Won't be booking again.
Handy for shops, theatres and stations. Breakfast was excellent quality.
Not much space between my side of the bed and wardrobe! Stubbed my toe on bed castor a few times.
next door guest banging draws or doors in the room for 2 hours in early hours of the morning
Roomsize and the "bathroom" is a disgrace. I guess every youth hostel has better rooms. You can not close the door while being in the bathroom because it is too small. Terrible!
Good Hotel near Russel Square, good service and nice breakfast.
Rooms are quite small
Very friendly staff
Would have liked porridge for breakfast
Too small rooms
Friendly staff and excellent access to the underground at Russell Sq. Rooms on the 5th floor are very quiet
Road traffic in that area is very congested, so easy to rack up high taxi fares without going very far.
Hotel good excellent breakfast made very wellcome
comfortable room, friendly service, nice breakfast, and location
Clean and comfortable hotel at a fair price on a walking distance from theatre district.
Service. Had a problem that the pre-authorization that is done at check-in was tripled the normal amount and therefor my card was maxed out. Pointed the problem out to a receptionist who apologized but didn't do anything else. Just said the money would be released at check-out. It turned out that the money was held for 2 weeks and during this time I was in contact with reception manager several times but I must say that email response was very slow. This whole event is the reason that I will not recommend this hotel.
Good location but would not stay there again as there are better places for less money in same area
Rooms too small and basic for room rate charged. No safe in room - common in many other hotels that I stayed in. Very inconvenient Obtained free WiFi by joining Holiday Inn Loyalty Club for free at Plymouth. This option (if available) not offered to me at Bloomsbury even though have stayed there a number of times in past. This is poor service in today's world where museums ,shop, restaurants and many other hotels have this feature that is wanted by travellers to affordably keep in touch with family and friends.
No place in the hotel to park bikes they should have a formal arrangement with the car park next door it took a fair bit of negotiation to get this arranged
Good price and clean. Easy check in and out process.
Location Facilities Staff
Location and quality of the property.
Was in a room that had a door for an adjoining room, had a weird person in the room next to us for 2 of the nights we were there, he kept bashing the door an got quite a bit of noise through it from him. My advice when booking is to ask not to have a room with a door that adjoins the next room.
Quiet near kings cross
Small tv reception variable
Helpful staff. Good quiet location, close to the tube. Nice breakfast.
Wifi price very high Marginal room space for 2 adults + 1 child.
Location was perfect for all I wanted to do. Russell sq tube is on Piccadilly line so direct to and fro Heathrow and direct to entertainment centres as well as South Kensington museums. Good breakfast and comfortable clean rooms
Walls are quite thin so it can be noisy from other guests and just people along the halls.
