Location and car parking
I asked them to remove the bath mat because it was quite dirty, never done...
Staff are friendly.
Response to requests not timely. Requests for check out require approval of supervisors.
The location and friendly amiling staff. Brillant location.
Monday morning breakfast, selections of some of the foods was poor. Staff were not quick enough to restock food.
Location Bus Station infront
The Internet is PAID and also very low quality. today - there cant be a hotel that doesnt offer free high quality internet
Wonderful location, close to Natural History Museum, Harrods, Hyde Park and on the Piccadilly Line which serves the tourist spots. Bar was handy in Hotel and staff were friendly and helpful.
My room was on the 6 floor and looked nothing like picture when I booked. It was very small, very dated, torn furniture, open hole where fridge had been removed, uncomfortable bed and no safe very disappointed for 4 star hotel.
Had to pay for wifi
The bed is very good and the hotel is clean. Good location.
I had to pay 25 pounds for 2 days wi-fi. It´s not fair, bacause so meny others hotels don´t charge anymore this kind of service.
In all honestŷ, there is little to say that we liked about the hotel. The reception man was polite when we checked in & the reception area was clean. Perhaps on a clear day the view over London would be good but only if you asked to face the London Eye.
Arriving late, we asked for simple room service:- this took one hour! The cleanliness was fair if you didn't look too close......with a sliding door for the bathroom so there was no noise privacy whatsoever. We elected for breakfast in the room. It was appalling! Only the packet Muesli was edible. However, there was no milk for it as the milk had to be used for the ONE TINY POT OF COFFEE to be shared. We thought they had forgotten a pot so eventually after FORTY FIVE MINS of trying to get hold of anybody I was told that the pot was for two people. We barely managed a cup each! I was told to have another pot it would be £3. I paid as we were thirsty & had persevered for so long. I would NEVER recommend this hotel nor would my friend.
The location, the room and the breakfast
They ran out of some things at breakfast on the Sunday morning
Location. Friendly staff. Overall a comfortable stay.
Stained towels in the bathroom. No bathrobes and slippers even though eligible. No milk for coffee on the second day. No one answers when you call housekeeping!
Breakfast, bed and pillows
Checkin problems. The room was not ready when I arrived. After 30 minutes I asked and my room was given to another person. They colect another but I asked on a Higher store and they gave me one on the firsts floor without space for a babycot (for my 1 year old daughter) that had sleep with us. Another problema was the lifts that sometimes we had to wait several minutes (almost 10) for one to arrive.
Good breakfast, comfortable beds, very good location
Queuing in front of the check-in desk, the breakfast room, the elevators...
Fantastic view of London from our room.
Just having to pay for Internet - but only there for a short stay, so not a problem.
Very close to the tube station. Good service.
Paid wi-fi (can't comment the quality as I did not use it). Smallish room - but I did not need more as stayed alone for 2 nights. The room was not very warm and the blanket was kinda small.
It was reasobable for the price paid in central London. It was quiet and sufficiently comfortable for basic business travel.
The rooms are fairly small and the decor a little tired, particularly in the corridors. Some rooms are in better condition than others - I changed room to a better one.
close to central london close to tube station
closet without door no fridge no iron no brush and tooth paste shampoo is poor quality
Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice sized room which was spotlessly clean. Fab breakfast!
Lifts were a bit of a nightmare - having to put your room card in to get them to work seemed to confuse a lot of guests!
Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Pillows Staff very nice although very few spoke any english.
Very soft bed.
The Starbucks cafe charges double the amount of the Starbucks around the corner... Be warned! Breakfast was cold, especially the eggs.
In 2014 you should be prviding wifi free. Charging for wifi is rather like charging for water from the bathroom tap. For most peple wifi is an essential.
Good location, pleasant, helpful staff. Clean and good shower, was ok for one night. Great views being on 24th floor.
Disturbed by rail line immediately next to hotel but ok once off to sleep. Bed could have been more comfortable and I was cold in bed, duvet appeared to be a summer duvet as it was quite thin.
Location in Zone 1. Value for money. Clean and quiet with good facilities. Our room wasn't ready when I arrived but I was given a token for 2 free drinks which was very generous.
Paying to use wifi in this day and age. It's a nonsense and mean. Breakfast is very expensive so we took paper bowls, cereal and milk which was fine.
I liked the silence in the room and the landscape from the 24th floor. Very nice location in an excellent position, close to gloucester road tube.
They first gave us an horrific room with 2 single beds and 1 sofa with matrasse, in total 3 single beds and no space even to move. This room was at 4th floor and there was a lot of noise from the street. We asked immediately to change it and to give us the ecxpected double room as pre-booked. The staff assigned this time a fair room on the 24th floor. The bathroom was really poor and the shower in particular worked bad. For sure it cannot be scored 4 stars and the price is too high
