The location Bathroom needs updating. The description of the room on booking.com is not what you are given. I booked a deluxe room with spa bath. The hotel does not actually have any rooms of this description.

Very near the underground. Late check-out. Nice and helpful people. Room with two double beds. Good roomservice, not so expensive. Ideal location to visit London, because underground and busstops are very near.

Have stayed at the hotel before and think the location is superb, was with my 20 year old daughter and I feel it is a safe place to travel back to late at night. The rooms are spotless, the staff so polite and friendly and it is just a fabulous hotel.

We went to the David Hockney Exhibition immediately around the corner- couldn't have been more convenient especially as one of us is wheelchair bound, Our stay was wonderful-including the weather! Just one comment the bathroom was huge in our room-plenty of room for a shower that could be wheeled intto in a chair which would have made it perfectt. Bath's are no longer an option. It was ,however wonderful to be able to park so close right in central London

The location of Holiday Inn Mayfair is very good. Most of the staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel room was very clean. The breakfast is lovely. On arrival, the member of staff who checked us in was a little abrupt, explaining that in our room there was a double bed and a sofa bed, which is fine when travelling with children, but it was quite uncomfortable to sleep in for someone who is 46!!! On our first morning, the Saturday, we rang down to Reception to enquire about breakfast. We were told that the price was £15 per person unless we got a voucher from Reception, then it would cost us £10 per person. We did this and collected vouchers for the following day too. On checking out, we were charged £12.50 per person, even though I did explain that we were told it only cost us £10, the member of staff who checked us out didn't seem bothered! We were also charged two different prices when ordering drinks from the bar!!!

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the 80's, last time april 1991. The hotel is a bit rundown since then. The location is very good for shopping and close to the West End. The staf was very atentive and helpful.. The polecy of preauthericationm of payment is understandeble, but 100pounds on top of the room rate for two nights is outrageous. When nothing extra except one breakfast is charged and it will take up to one week before the "deposit" is returned it convinces me that I never will stay at this hotel again. Be warned! There are lots of other and better hotels in Mayfair.

+ Exellent Location, Underground and Bus, directly across the street. + Friendly and very helpful staff + The Room The location was the criteria why we choose this hotel. We went everywhere by foot. Piccadilly is aprox. 500 meters. Green park just across the street. - A bit expensive - the internet charge to high (5 pounds for one hour!) - small bathroom

Convenience for Buck palace, The Underground , etc The water supply failed from early morning to when we left at 11am on Thursday 25th Aug. Thus we were unable to have a shower, or wash, shave, flush the toilet etc. very inconvenient!

location is great. Reasonable breakfast. Small bath room. Noise from the tap, and especially the neighbor's tap. noise from the aircondition (sometimes in the middle of the night). some of the concierge representative were completely un-professional. price is too expensive for what you get - despite the fact that the location is great.

I booked double deluxe room, however I was checked in into regular room without any explanation. BEcause I knew this hotel and felt the difference between standart room and deluxe room, I mentioned this issue to the Duty Manager, finally they moved me into propriet room, but sad experience and waste of time. Beside, the hotel facilities are out of date, old and needs refubrishing.

I like most about this hotel is the staff kindness. the room they checked me in first day was not the room I booked online, so tiny to the point that I have to leave the hotel if they have not changed it.

There are 300 words to many. What I liked is the location only. The Hotel is one of the very old fashion one. It does need a full refurbishment. The elevators are very small and overcrowded in the mroning hours. The price paid per night is not worth the product you get. The prices for such a product is much to high.

“This hotel is situated in a delightful area of Mayfaie between Piccadilly and Park Lane giving access to most public transport routes. On the corner of Shepherd Street and a few hundred yards from Shepherds Market the location is ideal. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. Although breakfast was not included in my room charge there are several good cafes in Shepherd Street providing a full breakfast for around £5. I would recommend and stay again.” Irvine, Portadown |
