Nice size room. Quiet. Neat. Clean bathroom. Very business oriented. Nice and knowledgeable staff.

Bed sheets did not look clean. Hair on bed and carpet floors. Squeaky floors.

The height of the rooms and the location, very close to the tram so easy to get around Manchester without much difficulty.

they didn't sattifsfy my needs which was a standered room with two single beds. There was not a swimming pool

Proximity to Lowry Theatre. Smart bar. Excellent breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Security (need keycard to use lifts and stairs)

Difficult to access when travelling by car, even with satnav

Hotel totally fab. Have stayed twice now this year and loved it.

The television reception is rubbish. Watched our favourite tv programme and it was stop start all the way through. Happened both times.

Everything was above board and exceeded all expectation for the price of stay

I did not take very kindly to you taking £50 from my card. I was told that it was taken because of any thing extra that I had. I think that is well out of order. I had already paid for the room on line. Also having to pay for the car park. And £15 for breakfast is a rip off.

The hotel staff were really helpful and welcoming and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and there was lots to do round about.

Contemporary design - clean & fresh. Helpful staff. Great location for visit to The Lowry. Tram stop closeby. Media City area has a lovely London feel to it with waterside bars/restaurants and green open spaces..lovely on a sunny day and perfect for an evening stroll.

Lovely spacious room, very comfy bed, clean bathroom with plenty of towels/soap/etc - overall a very nice room to stay in.

Cleaner came to clean the room at 9:45am when check-out wasn't until 11:00am - felt a little pressured to leave early. Couldn't fault the room itself though.

Booked through booking.com. Advertised as executive double with chocolates, bathrobes and slippers etc. There was only one bathrobe and no slippers - the helpful staff quickly rectified this. However the chocolates constituted one two finger kit kat! Would probably have been better just to forget the promise of chocolate.

Good newly built hotel just a short metro ride into Manchester. BBC studios and ITV studios all aroud so plenty of famous people bobbing about. Met Gary Lineker in prezzo on the Saturday night before he presents match of the day. Hotel room was spacious and bed was comfy. Excellent views of the city. Would stop here again for sure

When checking out the hotel attempted to over charge at a higher rate than when I had booked. Luckily I had a paper copy of Booking.com receipt, and even with this it took 10 minutes discussion for reception staff to authorise payment at original price. Left me with a deflated feeling after an otherwise good experience at the Holiday Inn. This also makes a complete and utter mockery of the Holiday Inns "Best price guarantee or your first night is free" offer on their web site. When the receptionist via her manager agreed that I should pay the Booking.com price which was £20 less than what I had been asked to pay by the hotel. She then refused to consider the "best price offer" saying that what I had now been charged the best price! The concept of "OR your first night is free" appeared to be ignored, lost or courtesy complex to be understood. Take home points (1) always check your final bill against your original online agreement. (2) Take a paper copy as you will you will not be believed (as in this case) (3) Don't always believe hotel "guarantees" (4) Dont expect a "we are sorry for the incorrect bill" because common courtesy is not always forthcoming.

Brilliant standard of room decor, hairdryer and TV. Helpful staff.

Wasn't easy to find!

The staff were friendly and helpful, they fixed a problem in one of our rooms immediately which was very good. The hotel was clean and really nice. Good location not too far from city centre. Also The staff were interested in what we were there for and genuinely cared you don't get this in other hotels!

Food prices were high for what you got we ended up going elsewhere for breakfast and paying £11 for two drinks and two full english breakfasts not £15 each one.
