Holiday Inn Manchester-Mediacityuk  

An excellent choice for visiting manchester, close enough to the city to be able to access everything, but in a location that is peaceful and quiet for a good nights sleep. The hotel has a lovley friendly atmosphere, staff are incerdibly hospitable and helpful. The rooms are well designed and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Our party was 4 adults, 2 older children and 2 oaps and everyone enjoyed their stay.

Well presented hotel in a great location for the Lowry and Old Trafford. Handy parking next door.

The location was superb. We were attending the Lowry Theatre in the evening. Having the bbc so close was a great plus. The view of the dock fantastic. Had 'bar meal' which was top rate. Would definately stay again.

I would have marked you excellent for everything but, having only whole milk in the bedroom has reduced your rating. I did ask a chambermaid for semi skimmed but there was none left in the room. Would have liked 2 cards for room, and should have asked for this, perhaps offered automatically?

Accommodation was of a standard expected

The reception staff member was totally inept in that she was unable to understand information given to her and could not find my booking

Great for visiting the BBC Studios

Was charged twice for breakfast and even the duty manager argued this was hotel policy and it took a threat of the press and trading standards some days later to get a refund. The hotel is in a good location but the staff are poorly trained and no one can make a sensible decision, even duty managers who think it is better to rip you off than protect the hotel brand. I will not return to this hotel i would rather stay further away and get a cab. Holiday Inn need to look at the Management and if this is really a satisfactory situation. .

Location, very friendly reception staff. Manageress and Daniel, both worked very hard, pleasant and helpful. Tv remote was missing from our room but this didn't effect the quality of our stay.

Lovely clean hotel and great location for old Trafford and Lowry shopping mall. Only downside was we were unable to open our bedroom window. The room was very 'stuffy' so had to keep the air con on which was very noisey, thus resulting in not the best nights sleep.

The location and car parking easy. Meals in bar excellent quality & value for money

Easy access to Manchester on the trams, cheap parking at the hotel.

Pillows too small and that's the only fault I can find!

Directions of how to get there are non-existent. Extremely hard to find

Good location, parking available close by which was necessary as we had a hire car. Good proximity to Old Trafford for match, and close proximity to motorway for travel to Liverpool airport. Clean, fresh and modern.

Organisation for breakfast very poor, al least 10 people waiting for tables, which were unoccupied, but not cleared of dirty dishes, and set up for next customer. Hot breakfast average, not great quality, some cold No Sky sports in bar. Too expensive, but typical of Manchester on a match weekend

Near to Old Trafford. Wide open paths and gardens outside. Stunning views from 11th floor. Food in restaurant was good.

Mattress was not as comfortable as I would expect. Waited 50 minutes for dinner, altho' staff very apologetic and reduced bill. Few people in the restaurant at the time.
