We arrived by train and had just a 10 minute walk to the Hotel which was right next to Norwich football ground. Had lovely big room which overlooked football pitch so enjoyed watching games being played. Staff very pleasant and room was very good. Hotel was within walking distance of shopping area and enjoyed pleasant scenic walk along riverside to town centre where we visited the Cathedral, Castle & museum. We also had a very pleasant trip on the river viewing the broads. Very relaxing. Can also recommend the Theatre Royal. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. All in all a lovely weekend break.

It was very comfortable and everything ran smoothly. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It is next to the football stadium. Friendly staff and friendly environment before the norwich vs West brom match even though both sets of supporters were freely mingling.

We were given a pitch view room. My partner was very happy with that. Staff are friendly.

No swimming pool.

really liked the view of the pitch from the room window and the docking station for the i pod.

fabulous staff who even made sure my little boy had a partial view of the stadium which was a nice touch. very clean reception area and the best shower ever after a day at bewilderwood!

wonderfully patient and helpful staff- especially Nick and Emma. Great room with space for gear. Comfy beds made for good nights rest. Enjoyed the excitement of the game. Good hearty breakfast.

That they wanted to charge for wifi in room - wouldn't book Holiday Inn again because of this. There are plenty of hotels that don't charge nowadays

The room was excellent value and in a good location. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I could not fault our stay at the Holiday Inn Norwich.I really enjoyed the weekend in Norwich.

Friendly efficient service, large clean room

TV did not appear to have a "sleep function" . It was also really annoying that freeview channels eg BBC News 24, Yesterday etc. were not available free. I have stayed in £15 a night B&B's with better free TV . P.S I would not watch the Dirty Digger's Sky News (which was available) if you paid me £7.50 a night!!

Modern hotel, near to the station and Carrow road. Friendly staff and generally what you would expect of a new hotel.

Expensive breakfasts (there's a supermarket doing ones for 1/2 price next door), plug in bath did not work. Tv continually had unnecessary menu.

Room - shower and double beds in twin rooms & tea making facilities, TV.

My friend said communal loo in reception area was filthy - he didn't use it.

It was my partners 40th birthday and the purpose was to Watch Norwich City , the Hotel upgraded us to a Pitch view free of charge it made his weekend waking up to Carrow Road

Clean and comfy.

It would have been nice if extra towels, mugs, glasses etc could have been automatically supplied to accommodate our family room booking, as we had to request after arrival. Also television didn't work very well.

I always find no.1 difficult to answer correctly as we have a younger child and and older child. However, staff at this hotel were friendly towards both of them.

The hotel is located directly next to the Norwich Ciry Football ground which was the purpose if our trip. We were even given a room overlooking the stadium which capped it off. We didn't eat in the hotel but there is a fairly large restaurant/ breakfast room and bar meals were being served a looked good. A 5 minute walk front he hotel was a lovely pub buzzing with fans and locals which served food.
