Staff friendly and helpful
Too near road , make sure you get a double bed not two single , door not fitted correctly difficult to enter plus toilet door , quality of breakfast middle range ... Expensive for what you get
swimming pool and all that goes with it. excellent breakfast. twin bedroom ok but it had no drawers for cloths, a lady needs more.
a bit too expensive for a retired person
Breakfast very good
Wi Fi price very hig
Reception staff very good. Free secure parking. Comfortable rooms.
Rooms a little dark perhaps nd soundproofing could be better as heard noises from upstairs.
Excellent customer service. Staff were really helpful, particularly Lucy on reception.
Great hotel and good value, it felt very luxurious after a budget stay in London. Park and Ride bus a minutes walk away to take you to the centre of Oxford.
Friendly efficient staff. Excellent breakfast. Very clean hotel. Ideally situated next to the park and ride for a speedy journey into Oxford.
Travelling on to Dover so only one night stay but was most impressed by hotel and staff.
We liked the attention of the staff, the great breakfast, the clean, spacious and comfortable room and a decent bathroom. Lifts to floors above.
Breakfast expensive, but sadly lacking quality. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Carpet in dreadful condition.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend. Great location for access to Oxford city centre.
Pool Cleanliness Everything works
Lack of local knowledge from staff Distance from town Inconvenient footpaths - only comfortably accessible by vehicle
Location, close to bus stop. Friendly staff at the reception especially Todd.
Rooms were a bit outdated -especially the carpet and bathroom. Rooms are not soundproof. The double/king bed is too small for a couple?!
Convenient location driving from the north and easy access to the city. Park and ride available although we cabbed it. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast ok - staff very attentive and efficient. Shower in room great!
Breakfast on second day a bit tired - same stuff but just seemed better on first day (Sunday morning). Picky really as difficult otherwise to find fault.
Good location for Oxford park and ride. Free parking at the hotel and short walk to regular bus into the city. Excellent reception staff and good breakfast with plenty of choice.
First day upon arrival the reception staff is not very nice. As a platinum member this hotel is worse than average compared with other holiday inns I stayed in other places
Very pleasant stay .Breakfast very good .staff were very helpful .
Room needed a little maintenance .
Staff service Access to Park and Ride Breakfast selection Free car parking
Ludicrous daily WIFI charges Expensive breakfasts (15.00 as opposed to 3.50 in town ....)
I liked the facilities offered by the hotel. The reception area, pool, sauna, changing facilities, bedroom and decor were all great. I didn't eat in the restaurant, or use the bar, so can't comment there.
When we arrived and checked in at 3:15pm, there was still a staff member cleaning the bedroom. Since we were in Oxford to attend a wedding, we had a really tight time to get ready and it was stressful (not to mention unprofessional) not to be able to enter the room right away.
Honeymooners - welcomed with a free bottle of chilled prosecco
Not a bad thing
Excellent location alongside the Pear Tree Park & Ride site providing a frequent service into the centre of Oxford. Also services on the same site for some foodie items. Good breakfast - replenished frequently.
Pathetic shower in the bathroom. No more than a slight trickle !
The guests should have the choice of temperature in their room. Unfortunately there was no choice about that. Both rooms I occupied had no choice on ventilation air conditioning. I was offered a heater that helpef.
The air conditioning.
Sparkling water with fruit and snacks were provided in room when I arrived at no charge. They were replenished each day.
Coffee provided in room and restaurant was real tasteless and was more like coffee you would get in automatic dispensor
The best thing about the Oxford Holiday Inn is its location next to the Pear Tree Park and Ride. You can leave the car and walk to the bus in 2 minutes. Also the standard of service, food and cleanliness is always good. All the staff are lovely too.
There were a few noisy guests but you get this everywhere, unfortunately.
