Room was pleasant beds clean and very comfortable.. Tea and coffee making good but more milk would have been nice without having toOask for more.
Ball of fluff behind bathroom door! Bathroom door could not close.
Location & hotel standard
Poor pedestrian access for park & ride
Everything. We knew the hotel was outside the city centre so weren't surprised when we saw it was on the ring road. The park and ride bus was quick and easy to use; much easier than trying to find somewhere to park. Breakfast was fine. Leisure club was really great; gym was a good size. I was impressed there was a lane in the pool so those who just wanted to swim up and down could do so.
The room was too hot even with the aircon on. Better to have a lighter duvet. Walls a bit thin too. But would still return to this hotel.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff Clean room with good facilities Good information on local bus services to city centre Excellent spa treatments
A bit far into town in a taxi (about £12)
The hotel. The room. The facilities in the room. The quietness. The decoration. The friendly staff.
Please excuse me, but I had difficulty with understanding the spoken word due to strong accents of some staff.
The location, facilities, courteous staff and breakfast.
Helpfulness of staff. Comfort and cleanliness of room. Spacious and welcoming. Good car parking.
These days, I don't think paying for wifi is an acceptable extra.
The facilities looked good, if only we'd had time to use them.
Double room booked, but given a twin. Offered an exec double for £25 extra! Attitude of staff was poor. Double we were eventually given was a grim, dirty disabled room. This was very noisy throughout night, as glazing wasn't sufficient to block out A34 traffic. When we complained the next morning we were met with apathy.
Site very near park and ride with ten minute ride to town. Liked individual heating/air con.
Some staff were not really eloquent in English, but on the whole were still friendly.
overall, we are satisfied your services.
Good breakfast buffet Sufficient serving staff Adequate parking Free newspaper Lovely swimming pool BUT had to walk through Lounge to return to room
Few tv channels, only 20 or so, not FULL Freeview choice following Freeview numbers Heavy duvet, no sheet Slow drainage of sink/toilet bowl
Staff very helpful and friendly. Free newspapers!
No decent draught beer to drink in the evening.
everything was great - and we will be returning soon as we had a wonderful stay. THANK YOU to all the staff at the hotel.
paid wifi Residents should not need to pay for wifi only non residents should pay for wifi. We did not use the wifi because of the charge.
Comfortable, location, price at 3am in the morning! Breakfast
Nothing, just a bit expensive for what it is really. This is NORMAL for a hotel of his size.
Cost of breakfast for older children
We found the staff, service, room and ambience good. We see the meals as a major contribution to a break, The evening meal, and sandwich choice were fully satisfactory. T
However the full breakfast fell far short. This was mainly due to the bacon being hard and the black pudding small slivers of a leather like substance. This spoilt the visit for me.
Reception Meals Leisure facilities Quiet room
pushy chambermaid who tried to clean room before we had packed on last day Didn't knock walked straight into room at 9.15 although room available until 12pm
Easy parking, friendly staff, well managed breakfast service and handy for park and ride.
Ridiculous charge of £28 for wi fi (walk across to service station for free wifi - maybe they appreciate their customers more?). Drinks expensive
Paying for Wifi is surprising and unnecessary. It is an essential now.
The front desk staff were great!
To be expected to pay for wifi - not good for business travellers these days - gives a bad impression of the place
The hotel is graceful and stylish in appearance as well as discreet. Its location is about 10mins drive to the city centre. Its also a bit expensive, yes, but worth every penny and more. Breakfast was a buffet, you got every thing on display that would make your taste bug smile. I had dinner as well and I will certainly compliment the chef as his/her cooking and flavour is fit for the Queen palate. And if you are into fast food, there is a KFC right about 2mins walk to the hotel. I will honestly say the room, food, staffs, spa even the internet all in one word "magnificence". At the check out desk, as I was about to leave, a little girl last words which echoed to my hearing was, "Mummy I love this hotel, its the best".
Access to the city and friendliness of staff made the stay very pleasant.
Staff friendly, rooms comfortable and very clean, food very good. Chose this particular site as right next to Park and Ride which was perfect for getting into Oxford each day.
Surprised to find there was a fee for wifi, most places do not charge.
