A large clean room with comfortable beds. The breakfast was superb.
We found it difficult to park as we arrived at 11.30pm and there was a function at the hotel.
Modern new hotel, supportive staff, close to the train station, clean room and bath
You need to pay to get wifi, this should be a standard free service
Restaurant, staff, swimming pool
Small 2nd bed in family room
Customer service from all staff at all times. Room was spacious Hotel was clean Good entertainment Car park is free
Our stay far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is immaculate throughout..food was delicious..the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It has fantastic amenities. We came with our 5 month old baby and the family room was super. We will definately be staying here again!
Nothing bad to say!
Everything especially times of the pool with children and not told about it There is nothing around the area so you have to eat in their restaurant wasn't impressed at all feel I wasted a lot of money for nothing
Spacious lounge bar area with friendly helpful staff
The room was clean and tidy, there was a fridge in the room which was handy. There were toiletries and a hairdryer in the room and the swimming pool was great for the whole family.
The only down side was that when we stayed at a Holiday Inn in the past there was a seperate sleeping area for the children with twin beds, however this room only had a double sofa bed which my children aged 11 & 14 had to share and which wasn't really big enough for them.
Efficient check in and check out ... All round excellent !!
Décor Service from staff at Reception, and in the bar and restaurant Food
hotel , bedroom , pool, breakfast, staff
we thought the evening meals were a bit price,ie
The hotel was very easy to get to, it was on an industrial estate but this wasn't a problem. It was lovely and quiet, the room was lovely and spacious and very clean! The reception staff were fab and were very organised.
The only thing that I found a bit frustrating , was that I ordered some food In the bar. The gentleman behind the bar said that he would come to take my order but 20 minutes later I was still waiting so had to go up to the bar to place the order. I had burger and chips which was 12.50, I thought it was expensive for what it was and it wasn't the best meal I have had.
Close to railway into Reading and London
Nothing close by as an alternative to eat at the weekends
The hotel was very modern, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the use of the swimming pool. Staff were all very helpful. The quality of the food both for dinner and breakfast was amazing.
Had 4 takeaway hot chocolates that were a bit pricey for what we got.
great bathroom, fridge in room, spa, food, good safe parking
pool water could have been few degrees warmer
The hotel was neat and clean but I did feel it was a little over priced for the facilities that are being provided. Especially the breakfast which was a standard menu and was rather heavily priced.
The same breakfast menu every day. Rather dry neighborhood.
Very clean . Lovely facilities .
Excellent staff and restaurant also. Rooms are very modern, with little touches of "wow"...e.g. The bathrooms mirrors are equipped with back end heating which means mirrors are clear even after a very hot steamy shower/bath...
Family room sofabed should be bigger...
Clean and nicely appointed rooms. Better than average gym for a hotel and good sized pool. Good breakfast.
The internet connection/speed is so bad you might as well not bother with it.
Good location Great value Friendly staff Good standard of bedrooms
Expected more from the food, but still nice Slow service in the restaurant (dinner/ breakfast)
Food was terrible and staff very rude.
Modern rooms Comfortable beds Excellent staff
Pool closed to children at seven. Limited menu
This is a fantastic hotel. Lovely rooms with excellent facilities. I asked for a room near a lift as I have problems walking and the room was directly opposite. Even though the lift made announcements - eg 'door opening' I couldn't hear it in my room and I had the best night's sleep I'd had in ages. To get up the next morning to a lovely breakfast was the cherry on top! Excellent!
The rooms had fridges which was great, but there was nowhere I could buy bottled water or coke etc to put in it. I ended up putting glasses of water in there so I had cold water to drink. A vending machine would have been really useful.
