The artworks in the restaurant and by the toilets. Upon arrival, tired after a long drive, I saw £55 was added to my account. It was explained as there to cover meals and drinks in our room. This took me aback and was a negative. I did not use the kettle or coffee or tea etc, or like to use towels or pillows left in the coat area by the door in case this charge was to be added to the final bill. Upon check out it became clear that I had misunderstood. Please explain to check in staff to be clearer in future, but better still don't add extra costs onto an already quiet high tariff, and certainly not at check in. I had no wish to order room extras, I suppose some of your guests take liberties, but we are not all the same. |

We ordered room service 3 times during our stay and each time the service was extremely prompt. Helpful staff. Check in and out times were good at check in from 14.00 and check by 12.00 |

i had paid £30 more for a late checkout, but i came out of the bathroom to find 2 strangers in the room, who had just checked in and been given the key, it was a very embarrasing situation, and gathered my things and let the room and hour and a half earlier than expected. when i discussed it with reception, no refund was given for the excess, |

We arrived before 2. 0pm and was not allowed to check in. We wanted to have a drink at the Bar and was told that because we were not a Resident could not do so. We had already paid for our stay at the Hotel even though we couldn't check in. |

Unfortunately, not a great deal. This was mainly because I felt that I was at a business meeting, as the public areas were overun with several 'meetings' at the same time. Focus is on the business customer, making it difficult for the independent traveller to find a restful area in the public spaces. The food was average, and grossly overpriced. The restaurant staff were not well informed about the product. |
