staff very good, excellent location, nice quality evening meal.
Everything particulary the service of the restaurant.
They did not tell me the parking was not free for 1 night when the parking is half empty
I had a very comfortable stay with very helpful staff in a good location I dined in the restaurant and felt food was a little expensive but breakfast was excellent I hope I would be offered a good rate to stay there again
The room wasn't cleaned after first night but it wasn't a big problem and as I've said food a bit pricey
We were so very pleased with all aspects of the stay from the staff, room and restaurant with terrific views
Nothing all good, and that's being critical
Room was cold. Heating not working. 5th floor restaurant and bar - way too much noise coming out of kitchen. Extractor fans?
Spacious room; view across the airport; cleanliness; helpful, friendly staff.
Cannot think of anything we disliked.
Rooms a bit clinical
Ease of hotel Bar and restaurant
No bath product just shower shame as would liked a bath No makeup magnified mirror
we were there for a friends birthday party , which was hosted wonderfully... then 2.5rs sleep before going to catch our flight! .. location is so close to airport could not have done it from anywhere else !
wake up call requested but didn't happen
Attention of staff and felt that the meals were really good and well cooked.(Dinner & breakfast)No complaints at all
It's an ideal place to stop over for an early or a late flight but very expensive and so kind of negates taking easyjet flights, if you check in, sleep and run, so £80plus in January with no breakfast seems a bit much, it was understandably not busy.
- Distance to the airport, only 5 minutes walk - Close to the train station of Southend Airport. - Really good for staying 1 night.
Staff tried to resolve the problem immediately by moving us twice.
The air-con was like trying to sleep beside a babbling stream.
The room, spacious and very clean. Staff helpful and keen to assist. Breakfast had plenty of choice. Overall good value for money. Short distance from venue on Sat eve.
The situation was excellent for the airport. The ambiance was very good.
Noisy air conditioning (kept the both of us awake most of the night) Food and drink overpriced for what was offered compared to many other similar hotels.9
Closeness to airport
The hotel is on the doorstep of Southend airport and ideal for overnight stay prior to early morning departure. Access by road and rail is easy. Comfortable bed in good sized room and the restaurant facilities very reasonable.
Don't publicise this minor complaint but the chef should cut off the dry end of a French roll and throw it away leaving all bread slices presented to the client with no hard surfaces. Otherwise the meal was very good.
staff were helpful & friendly. Rooms clean, comfortable & warm. Bathroom was spotless.
there were no airport trolleys when we arrived at the hotel, a staff member found a hotel trolley & later on I walked to airport & collected one. Not enough tea bags & milk in the room.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Convenience of the location. My young son loved watching the planes taking off and landing from the window of the hotel room. Bar nice but expensive.
Getting up at 4am to catch a flight!
Only one bath towel between two not very good
Sofa bed wasn't set up after request
Free upgrade to executive suite, view over airport was spectacular , bathroom impressive.
The room was freezing and impossible to get arm despite putting the heating on full and informing reception
Ease of access by road; friendly welcome; modern room; general location
Having to pay for parking as a resident
Large modern room, nice bathroom, walking distance from airport and train station, very comfy bed.
Some mechanical noise occasionally coming from air vent or somewhere else above. Good sound insulation from other rooms, but less good from external (road) noise. Only soap provided in the room, no shampoo, body wash, or toiletries. Wireless is only free for a limited time.
