Good value for money and a very nice breakfast

A little bit noisy in the hall ways at night and early morning

Very clean room. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the 12 oclock check out meant there was no rush to leave.

The quality of the bed was excellent

Very poor bathroom, poor restaurant atmosphere. Food was OK

Grat location, staff and rooms excellent.

Mainly the Staff, very helpful & friendly.

Good leisure facilities. Well equipped room,we had an upgrade. Great choice at breakfast. We did not book breakfast but were offered a free one due to problems with the inhouse movie system going down.

Location to visit family was the only thing I liked about it. It was a shame as I have stayed in numerous Holiday Inns and this was possibly the worse one

It was more of a business hotel and the bar was too expensive and lacking in any sort of atmosphere. We ended up going to the Harvester which was more welcoming and prices which allowed us to have more than one drink without breaking the bank! Also the breakfast was cold and you could leave the coffee and tea pot in an accessible place. I noted a few people looking around trying to get the staffs attention because they wanted another cup.

Paid £119 for one night for business meeting, food provided was dreadful. Branston pickle sandwiches????

Reception fine and efficient, though appearing a little business like, rather than customer friendly. We are both in our seventies and, though reasonably fit we were offered no assistance with bags ( the offer would have been nice). Food at Breakfast was excellent

The breakfast supervisor was very good though she did seem on her own a lot and, had to go seeking staff at one point. One guest came to ask her if there was any service in the lounge and, again she had to go look. The staff generally seemed more task oriented than guest oriented.

In the room all what you would like to have a good stay away from home flat screen tv with internet and movies and cable and sports channels good sofa to lounge on phone tea coffee kettle a mini bar hair driyer and iron and board and desk area to work good clean bathroom bedroom air conditiond and has add wall heating the bed very comftable and I had good nights sleep and the plus side having a good range of food at the bar and the nignt staff wear very helpfull thier is 24 hr food room service

Food portions are on small size and presantaton could be inproved and it would be nice to have food cooked and not thrown down in front of you a bit of customer service skills would help . managment need to sort out staff not to brag about ripping customers off and how much thy have taken in front of house any hotel staff paperwork should be done in private and any telling off not in ear shot off customers plse this is good grade hotel dont loose it

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, hotel clean and food excellent. Would recommend to any.
