Executive suites, comfortable and at the far end of the hotel away fro0m the function and main areas
Lack of drawers, failed light in bathroom and slow draining sink. Neither fixed during stay due to lack of weekend maintenance staff
Ideal location for stopover
Poor condition of room and roo service appalling
Main lights not working in room 111 also spongy floor in front of shower room (disable access room)
Bedside light had no bulb no remote for tv air con not working no teaspoons
The bathroom especially the shower.
No air conditioning despite requesting a fan for the room from reception it was never delivered to our room.
Friendly reception staff swimming pool facilities comfy beds in bedroom green light in bathroom good parking facilities lighting in bathroom
Breakfast was not always of the best standard. catering staff - some were more friendly than others Room was not as clean and organised as I would have liked.
Great location just off the M6. Love that it has a bar, restaurant and little gym and swimming pool. Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Good value for money.
Could do with a bit of TLC in the rooms generally, particularly if paying more for an executive room (as I have on all occasions). Mould on bathroom ceiling and curtain, doesn't bother me but seems a shame it can't just be painted over and the shower curtain changed. Water can be lethal at times too, switched a couple of times from normal to scolding hot and have stayed here three times and had the same thing.
Clean, helpful staff, excellent Buffett breakfast, swimming pool good room cleanliness and comfortable beds.
No fridge or hair dryer in room. Air conditioning not working at the time in 2 out of the 3 rooms.
Staff were friendly. don't have to wait long for food and value for money. I would recommend the hotel.
Location and Facilities was fair.
Staff not very helpful, Pre booked a double bed, they said haven't got double beds in the hotel and by booking on third party website they don't faciliate these requests, so me and my partner had to sleep in single beds.
It's always a pleasure to stay at Holiday Inn when I go in Scotland.
The bed was comfortable, staff were really nice. Was quiet, just how we wanted it.
The restaurant closed at 9.30pm on a Saturday. The bathroom was peeling. The room needs to be updated with decor.
Nice to have a pool.
Not exactly the hotel's fault but the family room had obviously been occupied by a heavy smoker. Horrible smell everywhere; how thoughtless in a non-smoking room. I hope they were charged the £150 fine, but that didn't help a family with young children get stink-free sleep.
Sauna, nice room
it was not possible to connect a laptop to the TV-monitor
Other noisy guests all night
Clean ,friendly easy to get to,good value
Bed a bit too hard
Staff were brilliant had a good laugh with them all very welcoming! Wifi was brilliant with the added extra if you wanted to upgrade. Room was amazing compared to another hotel I stayed at locally. Clean, Fresh, Good decoration, choose of pillow!
TV turned automatically in the morning slightly annoying.
Staff were very helpful and accommodating .
We were woken at around 5am and it seemed to be a very busy corridor where we were from that time .
Staff were excellent. Facilities were good on site. Rooms were quiet, modern and well decorated. I would definitely stay again.
Felt very valued as a guest. Upgrade to an executive room was an excellent treat. Have stayed here before and will definitely return. Use of pool is also a bonus, which was enjoyed by the family.
Very good staff a reception on arrival, upgraded to Executive room for £20 for my four nights with no problem. Room was good air con worked well. No restaurant facilities on the Sunday due a wedding reception, but Bar menu was good and the service excellent. That quality of service was there for the entire stay and the food was good. Many thanks to all the staff that made my stay so good. Gym and pool were also good and the sauna was a good way to unwind at the end of each day.
Some staff were useless at the best of times, room very dirty, we were ignored and had to chase around to find a manager as there staff couldn't find them Just poor alround
No soap, no bedding for my son in this family room...... Not enough towels. Requested these things several times but they only arrived after 9:00pm!!!!!!!!! Housing ladies x2 chapped and walked straight in in .Saturday. !!!!! without waiting on a reply before 9:00am!!!! Booked because 0f pool, jacuzzi and sauna, but on arrival pool was closed, lighting problems, when reopened the jacuzzi and sauna were not working!!!!!! Very disappointed to say the least :0((((((( )

Airconditioning was broken, hot tub was out of order, request for the poo to be removed from the corridor was ignored! Flashing lights all night on the broken air conditioning unit! Level of service was awful when the hotel was busier the list goes on...
