The bed and bathroom

Hard to find

Pool and gym were good. The menu choice from the restaurant and bar was excellent.

Very accomadating staff and now I know about the pool will use it next time

No bedding ready for our put up beds for the kids. Kids states bed uncomfortable what looked like a blood clot on skirting and another dubious looking mark in bathroom which had been missed by cleaners. Whilst 10yr old son searching through tv channels, full porn channel came on in full view/sound etc, reported to manager who was concerned re matter and thankfully did not appear again

Clean, modern and served the purpose.

Very poor signs to find the hotel when coming off motorway. There were 2 cars in our party and we all went round the houses several times beofre we saw the tiny little sign that indicated the lane that was "hotel only".

Close to motorway. Easy parking. Spacious rooms and clean bathroom. Room was quiet (apart from fan heater) and bed was comfortable.

Heating didn't appear to be working so rooms were equipped with extremely noisy fan heaters. Tv programme for movies didn't work. Small leak under sink in bathroom making towels wet. The hotel claimed a "leisure club" but in reality this was a small room with a few pieces of gym equipment (one of two running machines wasnt working) and a small pool. There was also a lukewarm sauna and a jacuzzi (not working). I went to the bar for a bite at 8.00pm but was told that the bar couldn't take food orders at that point and there was an hour delay because the kitchen was busy. Not sure this is worth the premium over something like a Premier Inn.

I did not pack real soap bath foam and shampoo and there was not any in the room only that cheap liquid attached to the wall that is what you expect at a holiday inn express not a holiday inn

Room was clean and well equipped.

Complete lack of Freeview channels on TV. Internet connection is about the slowest I've ever experienced. Noisy connecting doors in corridors that seem to slammed continually. Some rooms I've stayed in seem damp.

We were particularly impressed with the efficiency of the dining room staff. A number of people arrived in the dining room at the same time but there was no delay in seating and tables were cleaned quickly and thoroughly when diners had finished.

Good clean, modern hotel that's conveniently placed at side of m6. Good room with comfortable bed & good quality bathroom/ shower.

One gripe, an extra day (Sun) was quoted at £89 which was a higher tariff than each of the previous 2 days stay. I felt our custom deserved some flexibility of tariff but staff were powerless to moderate & we elected to not stay the extra night. This was a shame.

The room was clean and spacious, the bar was similer.

The fact that the pool was closed for the three days I was there, the resturant served basic food for the same duration and the automatic door outside my room was broken and every time someone went through it woke my wife and i,i also stayed in your hotel in Peterborough before Christmas and the pool also was out of action, the main reason I chose your hotels in the first place.

Hotel was easy to find and rooms relatively comfortable and clean. Staff at checkin helpful and although a mistake had been made with booking, were more than willing to accommodate without argument.

No heating in room but was provided with a fan heater. Leisure facilities closed due to electrical issues but not informed prior to stay. Restaurant staff incredibly slow making us wait 15mins for a table in a half empty restaraunt. Breakfast nothing to get excited about and had run out of various things.

Great hotel, modern and comfortable rooms, negative comments about the building and rooms is rubbish, don't listen.

The accommodation was spacious, reasonable food.

The use of the swimming pool

First time I have not been happy using booking.com I asked for a room for 2 adults 2 children ages 11 & 14 got to our room with only a double bed .

I attended a wedding and had a very good time

convenient to go to Birmingham for food

unfriendly and grumpy lady receptionist, very poor service, worst for family with young children, uncomfortable & unsuitable accommodation, worst food ever..... I want the compensation or refund as it ruined my holiday with children.....

Even at a very, very late arrival (4am) we received a warm welcome!

The fact that althugh breakfast finished @ 9:30, there was very little left @ 9:05am. To be fair however, they us a cooked breakfast of our choice.

The up grade to the room was great. Nice layout with the sofa bed in a separate part of the room.
