This Holiday inn was needling freshened up - the bathroom was spacious enough but poor water pressure in the shower and dated decor. The breakfast had been pit too long with curled up edges on the Cheese!

On the evening I stayed the kitchen was a shambles. 55 minute wait for the main course. Avocado & crayfish salad starter was in fact some naff prawns in a thin mayonaise with a few rocket leaves and a chunk of stale bread. ie no avocado or crayfish. Breakfast was good.

Pleasant experience with friendly and efficient staff. Room clean and warm.

No milk on tea tray and slightly noisy people in room next door.

Gbp16 for wifi what a rip off, in this day and age wifi shoud be free. Food in restaurant and bar was ok but expensive and this area was definately under staffed on the evening we dined there. Heard a lot of complaints fom adjoining tables.

Location just off M6 was great for me, out of the way if you wanted to be closer to other facilities though. Room was fine - standard Holiday Inn and it was clean. Price was fantastic value though.

Paid over hundred pounds for a "camp bed". Room 4. The staff seem to know what I was taking about, and without any fuss offered me 1000 points and free meal at my next stay.

I had booked a twin upgraded room and on arrival they didn't have a twin upgraded room so had to take a standard twin although tariff was changed to lower. Starter in dining room was a soup and it was cold had to be sent back. One f party steak was not cooked as ordered although chef did apologise personally I would have expected a reduction in charge or offered free sweets r coffee for cold starter and wrongly cooked steak.

Housekeeping trying to enter room at 9am on Sunday morning when we were only staying one night. Toilet needed adjustment as water ran long after flush. Tap in bathroom sink also needed adjustment.

Friendliness of staff and receiving bottled water was a very good touch. The breakfast was excellent would highly recommend this hotel.

The room and the staff were really good especially the dining staff at breakfast.

Great layout relaxing

Nice welcome from the desk staff when arrived, staff were curtious and friendly through out my stay. The room was value for money.

I attended a xmas event which encluded a meal and sad to say the meal was not very good ,it was over cooked, little portions and spoilt what was a nice evening, comments were made to staff who waited on us but the problem was in the preparation and cooking of the meal. Due to this I declined the breakfast as I felt that may have beeen prepared and cooked in the same manner.
